Lots of mental illness, and weak gun control laws or at least that's the case here in the states other countries like Japan barely get over 10 deaths a year do to guns
People are down, depressed , frustrated with a collapsing economy, and wars with Biden. It doesn't help trying to make women become men either. Anyone that tries that is already crazy. Give them a gun and you have this.
I didn't know they were. It feels like they're just a regular part of the American education system now. Since the state can't protect your kids, maybe you should be home schooling them?
Well, a bunch of reasons. First of all it correlates pretty well. Namely by comparing your country to others it makes sense that the high gun ownership rate and mass shootings correlate. Secondly, its a very "gunsentric" problem, even if we ignore the "shooting" in mass shooting and just focus on an incident where one person indiscriminately murders several others in public, it is very unlikely to happen with anything else besides a gun.
As such, there might very well be just as many criminals in other countries attempting to do the same amount of damage but being unable to get the same results with knives or bombs or whatever as Americans can get through just buying a cheap gun. We can also consider how much control USA has over who can and can't buy a gun, more specifically how easily it would be for someone with criminal intent to legally buy a gun.
Considering all the loopholes and whatever and lack of id control and checkups, there is no barrier except a bit of pocket change for an American criminal to purchase a gun. As such, every criminal in USA can reasonably be assumed to be armed, especially those that intend to cause public harm. If anything, they could be considered the primary customer of guns after the military.
I could also point to various other countries that also had a period of increase in gun violence followed by gun control legislation which reduced it back down to negligible levels. Lastly, just to address your mental health argument from previously. It is not true. Specifically, it is a propaganda statement constructed by pro-gun advocates to pull the blame away from guns by making baseless but believably sounding accusations against mental health.
America does have a mental health problem but it is not really tied to the mass shootings. It certainly does not help, but it is not why USA is the only country in the world with this issue.
The US's dumb gun laws I'm guessing is the core problem...

Maybe the media glorifies it so they do it because it’s been done so many times before, maybe we’re just hearing it more now because of how much news coverage there is, it may have been happening all along in the past

I think there are many factors depending on the Individual.
Unchecked anger, lack of a Father Figure... Drugs sometimes have a play. Bully problems?
Plus, I can't imagine any other place a kid hates more.

Cause nobody wants to address the real problem mental health in America
How ironic. *gestures to the literal elephant in the room AKA the GOP and GUNS*
Maybe you should start addressing the real problems too?

What do you mean? They happen all the time not just recently. There is evil everywhere and people are evil.

Because everything is based on the green 🤑
cause the economy is going to shit. economy goes down, crime goes up. that's how it works.
Because of the woke lefts turning away from traditional values
Because, the media reports on it, giving these shooters the attention they crave.
Because democrats are inciting them more now in order to justify their laws against guns
Because baseball is boring so we needed a new national pasttime
We need to bring back mental institutions and put these people away.
Extremism.. Specifically leftist extremism..
I know again yesterday
Sick people
It’s so sad
When criminals are running the country, They're also running the streets.
Because some people are just nuts.
Simples...
