David MacNeil is founder and CEO of Weather Tech. These are his thoughts on business-
"As a business owner, I want to create high quality products that are designed, engineered and manufactured right here in America, built by American workers. You see, when something is made in America, it means more than just a good paying job for someone... every manufacturing job actually creates up to five other jobs, including the delivery of products, packaging, designing, engineering and so on. Not to mention the communities, and supporting the small businesses of where those workers live every day."
I think that he would make a great president.

Sounds good to me, I never have liked the idea of free trade systems when the US pays higher wages, how can US companies compete to another country that workers get paid less?
Free trade makes more sense if the other countries have similar minimum wage laws and labor laws.
If I was a business owner and had to pay someone $20 bucks an hour to work for me in the US but I could hire someone in Mexico for $5 bucks an hour to do the same job. I'd be moving my work to there because how do I sell my product, make a profit when other companies are already outsourcing to other countries for that very reason?
Throw in benefit costs too, many people in the US think a employee only costs the actual wage they get paid to take home, say the $20 an hour but it often costs them 30 or 40k more a year for benefits for health insurance, 401k matches and other perks to get and retain good employees.
Now that employee could actually be costing them 50% more than what they actually receive in pay, but since the company still has to pay for it all... they simply can't compete.
