Sounds good to me, I never have liked the idea of free trade systems when the US pays higher wages, how can US companies compete to another country that workers get paid less?

Free trade makes more sense if the other countries have similar minimum wage laws and labor laws.

If I was a business owner and had to pay someone $20 bucks an hour to work for me in the US but I could hire someone in Mexico for $5 bucks an hour to do the same job. I'd be moving my work to there because how do I sell my product, make a profit when other companies are already outsourcing to other countries for that very reason?

Throw in benefit costs too, many people in the US think a employee only costs the actual wage they get paid to take home, say the $20 an hour but it often costs them 30 or 40k more a year for benefits for health insurance, 401k matches and other perks to get and retain good employees.

Now that employee could actually be costing them 50% more than what they actually receive in pay, but since the company still has to pay for it all... they simply can't compete.

Yes, that is the good thing about America. If you come here legally you can become a citizen. Not like we have today with open borders. Just let everyone in, sign them up for benefits that most Americans would not qualify and when they committ crimes, just let them go.

You can want what you want, but you have to create a price competitive product or you will be out of business. How's he going to pay American workers 10x that of Vietnamese or Chinese? The job is way more complex than what I just read.

Anything America has my vote I'm tired of all this bullshit outsourcing Why China is trying to destroy our dollar and the people in Inida have no idea what we're mostly saying so it makes no sense why we continue to outsource. Americans need to deal with Americans.

What you forget is that no needs to mention numbers. If they are making even 1% of their product in America then it still is technically "made in America".

Plus Weathertech is a shit product anyway and not rated well. It's why no big car manufacturers use them. Plus they are a bad pollution company

He’s the exact opposite of the MyPillow CEO. The MyPillow guy was focused on the comfort of the head and the person. This Weathertech CEO implicitly implies that it is the car or light truck that should be the focus for protection from dirt and not the person. At least that’s where I would suggest Mike Lindel to focus his attack on the Weathertech CEO of Trump and Desantis dropped out of the primary and they were running in a head-to-head matchup.

It would depend on what he knows about governance, foreign policy, national security strategy and policy, etc. His business philosophy alone won’t get him there. Besides, no indication that he wants the job.

Look him up on the internet. When I was in grad school i did a report on his company and have followed him. His company has really taken off and he is pretty low key but he seems like the real thing.

He has a great philosophy and seems like he is a really smart guy who loves America and Capitalism. That is half of being a good president. He knows how much a gallon of gas costs and has had to make a payroll. He is more qualified than John Fetterman, Pete Bullegeig or AOC.
