Will the USA ever come to the defence of Taiwan or are they just empty lies?

Everyone knows the USA is a dying cow on it's death bed and it's words are that of no promise but nothing but lies.

Afghanistan is a fine example of turn tail and run at the turn of a dime. Even on the world stage the USA has very little allies left. The USA if it ever did help Taiwan it would be of limited scope. Rather the USA would just roll over in defeat in like it's already obese sad excuse for a population. Even today you compare other countries military recruitment video's they give a sense of being a part of something bigger than your self. Then the USA's modern woke recruitment video looks to enroll trans people and LGBTQ people rather than sybolize nationalism.

I'm not fully convinced that the US wouldn't defend Taiwan, but the actions of the current administration heavily imply that they are unprepared and unwilling, and would look for an excuse not to get involved. Some of our allies in the Pacific are already saying they won't do anything without our direct involvement, basically clearing the way for China in the process. This is while continuing to push for direct involvement in Ukraine despite that being a much less important theater as far as our actual national interests are concerned.

We still haven't delivered military equipment that Taiwan has already paid for, while we are preemptively loading up sh*t to send to Ukraine that hasn't even been approved by Congress (yet), and there's about a 0% chance we are ever getting reimbursed for any of that. Chalk up another one for what a trash ally the US government is.

Gotta study the art of war. The moral high ground is the only link needed to fully embolden the United States of America to its full potential. Same as any other army in history but that's beside the point.

The war on terror was a tangled mess with no end goal since the beginning. It was doom to fail from the word go. A Taiwanese defensive war is different. All 5 tenets of war have clear goals and objectives. Same can be said with Ukrainian vs Russia.

The US will come to the defence of Taiwan if only to prevent the CCP from getting their hands on the chip farms that produce the majority of the worlds microchips, Whether that means stopping the Chinese from invading or reducing the chip farms to rubble.

US has to as per Resolution of US Congress of 1960s which mandated US should come to Taiwan's rescue in case of any invasion. But, we also told the PRC that we wouldn't support Taiwan if it declared independence. So it really comes down to what China and Taiwan does. The seventh fleet continues to tour the region from time to time.

Hell no but they will bomb TSMC and never let the Chinese assume control of these fabs that manufacture nearly all of the processors we use except Intel products

I expect the US would. They are busy building a coalition of other East Asian countries to help deter China.

No the United States will you can bank on that. But given the proximity of China etc. You can pretty much figure all the United States will be doing is avenging Taiwan if China decides to attack.
