Why do people think being a traditionalist wife and a progressive is mutually exclusive?

I don’t get it. I’m a tradwife because that’s who I am and what I enjoy (To take care of my family and keep a good home) while I’m also fairly progressive in my political leanings. Yet many seem to think they can’t be compatible. Why? It’s my choice to be a traditional wife. Key word choice.

"Choice" is ridiculous. If you took away the choice to be a criminal or kill yourself would that be bad? Having choices to do shitty things isn't good helpful or kind to people. Do you make sure to tell a child... just so you know... you have another choice besides going to school, you could be a criminal or kill yourself... just FYI. That's not good. So if you don't find being girl boss a good idea, why are you into making sure women know what you think is a bad idea is available for them? Does having bad choices suggested to people help them? No it doesn't. It can only damage them.

But like all women. This is a female behavior to trample on weak people with shitty ideas. If they say no. Good there's a strong one. If they say yes, haha let them destroy themselves. This comes out in a few ways but this is definitely normal for a woman.

Plenty of people are aware of mothers that want to stay home with their children who also support socialism. This is the basis of the Black community in America with welfare moms that suckle of the teat of the government. It is also the basis of Lebensborn in Nazi German which was an SS program to increasing the number of children born who met the Nazi standards of racial purity in regards to Aryans. The system was based on Nazi eugenics. Black Americans vote Democrat 90%+ of the time. Nazis were National Socialists. Both are far left wing ideologies. What you are is well understood.

I actually like when a woman stays at home too, this women should all have independence has spread a lot, I remember when women would stay at home and the guy would have to work and even tho I didn't live through the times, the mentality stuck to me because I grew up with a mother at home and a father that works and for some reason it feels right, not all that looking for a babysitter stuff.

But isn’t the point of equality choice? I’m a homemaker because I want to be not because of societal norms. I enjoy taking care of people and keeping a clean home. As long as you’re happy that’s what matters.

Traditional wifes are typically conservative. They believe in gender roles, etc.

Progressives typically don’t believe in gender roles. They’re more liberal socially. And two big differences: The feelings about sex work, and significant other’s being friends with past sex partners.
