Yes it make absolutely no sense at all, if theyre into traditional relationship they have nothing to do in politics, they should be at home talking care of their children but traditional party are never really traditional.
In my country for example the traditional anti immigrant party is lead by a woman and an immigrant (who say he hate immigrant and want to revoke the right of the ground while if he do that then he won't be able to get into politics anymore... whihc kind of logics is that?).
This party also ban school girls from wearing long skirt and long dress as well as modest feminine set but is ok with women wearing baggy jeans and hoodie? Weird for a party that is popular with devout Catholic and conservative.
If you read the bible some of the leaders in it were women.
no because most conservative women in government positions aren't young women
most are older women who are already done raising their kids into adults
then there's the possibility they are only advocating for men to be traditional while women can do whatever they want
both sides of the political isle still advocate for traditional male roles and shame men for not conforming
No, conservative women defend traditional gender roles because those gender roles allow them to continue taking money from men and continue parasitizing society. The fact that there are conservative women in government positions is not contradictory since it is another way to parasitize society and ensure they do not lose their benefits.

No, why would it be?
According to traditional gender roles they shouldn’t even be in politics in the first place.
It's a spectrum, and women never working at all is at the far end. I know some married couples who are pretty traditional but the wives go back to work part time when the kids are in school, and full time when they are like in high school.
In my opinion being traditional is more about relationship dynamics and mindset, and of course family values.
It may be a spectrum to an extent but fundamentally a “traditional” woman wouldn’t want to be heavily involved in politics. Even the few women that got into politics in the 50s and 60s didn’t advocate for traditional gender roles because being in politics in the first place went against what women were “supposed” to do.
Why exactly should a traditional woman not be involved in politics? You have provided zero reason for that notion.
Do you not agree that having good, traditional women in influential positions is good for the world.
I didn’t say they shouldn’t be involved in politics. I said that it’s contradictory; And no I don’t agree that having traditional anyone, man or woman is good for the world. I’m a big believer in letting society progress and not trying to hold it back or revert back.
There is no contradiction in it. There is nothing in traditionalism that suggests good women should not be in influential positions.
The only contradiction in all of this is how liberals misuse the term progressive. What some consider progress was obviously viewed as setbacks by many Americans. The damage done by liberalism in America over the last decade has been very harmful to society. Healthy families and strong values don't hold anyone back.
What damage and harm are you referring to?
That men can compete in women sport.
Children have rights to make decisions.
Nope, it's not contradictory.
Nope.
No. Hope this helps
