Way back in 2015 I faced very real cancel culture at my old job. I never talked about politics at work but I was “outed” as a secret conservative in a company where everybody else was liberal. I was asked to manage online advertising for an abortion clinic and I politely declined. It was minor campaign and only a small task another employee didn’t mind handling.
However after that happened I notice the entire office’s attitude towards me changed. One employee kept on trying to look for mistakes I made to make me look bad in front of my boss (end goal was to get me fired). Then in one insane incident a girl during a staff meeting outright said “everybody her is pro choice except Joey”. Out loud and right in front of my boss but he didn’t care.
I quit that job and just assumed it was a shitty company. An isolated incident. But later when Trump ran for President I started hearing about the very real discrimination going on in the workplace for conservatives. There is no legal protection for political beliefs either.
Conservatives tend to dislike the so called “anti discrimination” litigation. Reason being it might have started out with justified intentions. But some “protected classes” have used it as a built in cushion to cover for their shitty performance (also sometimes unfairly used for hiring and promoting). We aren’t supposed to bitch just prove ourselves. But now corporate America increasingly has no problem blatantly discriminating against conservatives. It’s much more dangerous to be openly conservative in many companies vs openly liberal
Anyway that was my fucking livilihood that got threatened back at my old job. I have a deep grudge about it and I started reading more and listening to conservative podcasts these trends. I wanted to be armed with information about what I am up against.
How can I stay optimistic yet prepared for bullshit that can happen?

And liberals wonder how Trump gets elected. I've said before Trump is a protest vote. Don't want Trump in office then stop swelling his ranks
But why is it they continue to seemingly get away with this bullshit? Why? I never said a word about my political beliefs at my old job. I have the capacity to separate politics from work. It wasn’t until I was put in the corner.
The pink anon who said called me a “bigot” and said the discrimination was justified exemplified what I am talking about exactly.
It's been my experience that most liberals are young and foolish. They think thier way is the only way. They haven't lived long enough to see the pitfalls of thier ideology. They see it all as good vs. Evil but in thier ignorance it never occurs to them that they might actually be the pawns of evil. They cannot even see thier intolerance. Think of them like Nazi's. (Ironic since Nazi's also supported socialism). Nazi's thought they were building this great society as well. But in actuality they were running it through a meat grinder.
A lot of leftist elitists are often sociopaths which disgusts me the most. They have less (if any) guilt for being hypocrites. They care only about adoration, money and votes while promising “equity” and free crap. They will scream “defund the police” when they live in gated neighborhoods with private security.
You can't give it up and stay informed.
