this is not about being smart or dumb smh.
people are on here for different reasons, the most common one today would be covid because so many were locked up and limited to only internet as connection to anything so they come across this site.

before covid most people found this site because you would google a question about yourself and on coincidentally many would click on the links of similar things that would lead them here where someone else had asked a similar question, then in order to interact or ask you would need to make a profile and after that one would occasionally just look in here when bored or free time and for some just becomes habit to look every now and then as a pastime.

and just like anything, this too can become addictive asking and answering questions etc.

basically curiosity of what others have to say is what keeps people here.

This site is only for mindless entertainment at best. I don't think anyone seriously comes here to be educated on anything. If they do, it is kind of sad.

I like to learn about people. Study people and find out what makes us all different from one another. When I started writing my book series last year, I didn't realize how characters can develop a personality just like people in real life.

I believe there are a lot of smart people on this site, and I've even come across a couple of them here and there. I've come across some dumb ones too, lol. Especially the political ones, jeez, don't get me started on those weirdos! lol. (Well, some of the "You're biased" or "You're a gimp" ones are)

Being smart has nothing to do with being a member of some website. Every day between 5 pm to 9 pm, I write, mostly work on my novels, and I take breaks in between. This site is a good break for me.

Smart people always try to broaden their horizon and learn more.

Not so smart people think they already know everything.

So you just have to filter those people out here that dont really ask actual questions but just want support for their opinion and you are set.

No one knows everything and if you know that, you are smarter than a lot of people already.
