I am personally boycotting two of my favorite places for groceries and coffee starting a few days ago and all the way until July 1st.

You can probably take a good guess which corporations won’t see my money for a while. However I am not going to state why because i don’t want to taint this poll.

Also I know it’s not just me. Other friends and family are doing it too.

I briefly boycotted Coke, but no longer. The funny thing is, though, that I discovered that I like Royal Crown Cola better than Coke, so the boycott is over for me, but I'm still not buying Coke.

I've haven't bought much beer over the last 40 years, but recently I picked up some Bud Light.

I guess the saying that there is no such thing as bad advertising is true.

I've discovered, through Vivek Ramaswamy, the 2024 presidential candidate, that the BS behind the "woke" behavior of some corporations goes above the corporations themselves, into the realm of Wall St. and government.

I'm not well-versed enough to speak to the subject, but I have come to the belief that the boycotting of corporations does more to hurt the everyday people who rely on them for employment, than hurting the corporations themselves.

What are the boycotters trying to accomplish? Are they trying to dismantle the corporate world? To what end?

My boycott of Coke was to get them to wake up and get their heads screwed on straight. I'm not sure if that happened or not.

The boycotting that I hear about from many others is, to a very large degree, vicious and nasty. Why is the vicious nastiness needed? I think there are much deeper psychological issues in play regarding these boycotts.

I understand the function of boycotts, and I agree with the concept, if they are logical, and if their continuance makes sense.
I think that they can carry on long past their useful effect, sometimes breeding ill will where none need be spread.
There're already enough feuds in the world.
Lately, I see more being created.
I started thinking about the "little guy" being affected by boycotts.
Maybe that's a small price to pay for order to be restored to this mixed-up world.

He has solid solutions for our country, to help the individual and country alike.

There are new quotas in place, i. e. companies can't hire white people unless they have permission to do so. There's the DEI (diversity Equity Index) put into place by George/Alex Soros' NGOs and if corporations don't engage in those practices they get finances halted, and/or violent protests held against them, at least one target had threats called in against them now. Look at the backlash against Bud light and Target; majority is pissed off but the minority with the largest echo chambers don't like that Anheuser-Busch and Target "caved" in to the majority backlash. Its just the beginning of June and so its now pride month, many more boycotts will happen, corporations don't have a choice to not push pride and people have the choice to take business elsewhere. Many corporations will likely go bankrupt. Before 2019 there weren't enough people paying attention, time during the pandemic helped people to see and experience. Its a lot different then having some random person at the bar try to talk about this, before I ignored those people, now I regret not listening enough.

Good response. The SGE (special government employees) act is the government’s method of force changing corporations into doing the discrimination and Marxist action they can’t do. However they have pushed the masses to a breaking point.

I’m personally boycotting Target and Starbucks this month. I am regular customer at both and it’s going to be very inconvenient but I don’t care that either corporation gets a penny of my money during the holy month of pride. I encourage other people to do the same.

Nope. Boycotts are when you refuse to buy, use, or participate in something as a way of protesting so as to influence public opinion and have your opinions heard. I don't do that. You can destroy your company any way you want. I don't want to control how you do business, but I will not do business with you if you're are doing things you shouldn't be doing. If you ruin your reputation, you just get blackballed. I don't care if you hear me or not. I think it's actually better if your company crumbles beneath you and you don't see it coming. That's more funny.

The word "boycott" originated in Ireland, amongst poor people brutally oppressed for holding on to their faith and culture. They had no political power, no weapons, and no meaningful amounts of money- but they DID have their interactions, so that was what they used.

Someone being boycotted was someone you didn't interact with AT ALL. You didn't do business with them, true. You also didn't speak to them, loan them a farming tool, or piss them out if they were on fire- and your efforts extended to those who did. A boycott isn't simply not buying from them, it's a full-on socioeconomic blockade.

I very rarely go to Starbucks for coffee now. I used to have about 6 drinks a month with my wife along with cakes so that’s over $400 a year at least. That was years ago. I left them after they didn’t want people with concealed carry to come into their stores… okay, I won’t as there are lots of places for coffee.

We don’t do Disney due to their nuttiness and I have been many times in the past, many times. I will do a lot less Target although it wasn’t my primary place to shop. I used to like Bud Light but that is forever off the table now.

I have and am. I refuse to buy Scotts/Miracle Grow or any other Scotts products. They monopolized the H&G product market, bought up other companies, charge 2-3 times what others do, and then won't support their products or honor their rebate deals. (This goes back at least 15 years- it wasn't pretty). Target is on my s - - t list too.

I'm boycotting Target, Chick fil a and Kohls along with UNILEVER. All these fucked up companies pander to leftist DEI bullshit and now Target, Kohls are grooming children with trannies. Fuck that. Never getting any of my money. This list is subject to having additional shitty companies added to it. I didn't put Bud light because I never drank that piss to begin with.

Yeah. My family has been boycotting Chick-Fil-A, Hobby Lobby, and Amazon for about a year now.

I’m boycotting target and Starbucks this month. I can live without Starbucks. However I routinely use Target and it’s the most convenient place to shop. It’s not going to be easy but I’ll make it work.

Yeah Amazon has been harder for me cause it's like the biggest online store. Hasn't really made a difference for my husband since he never shopped online anyway lol.

I can see how Target would be hard if there was one close to your house too. They have some good stuff there even if it's a little more pricey.
