That's a good question, I don't really know. I think in some situations people justify their behavior and tell themselves the other person deserved it somehow but I guess it depends on what kind of abuse we're talking about.

    quite often no.
A lot of it goes back to how they were raised the environment they grew up in, so it becomes normal, others are just ass hats and controlling and they deny what they are doing is hurtful.

well they either know or are another kind if stupid cause a crying woman is never a good sign even if you are clueless, that should be a dead giveaway if you make a woman cry.

In the case of men who abuse their partners, I think they do. The pattern of behaviors is so common that it feels intentional to me. No way to be sure though

I think to them it is normal for whatever reason they became that way. Whether it was from growing up in an abusive family or being in an abusive relationship for some time. It becomes "the normal" to them.

In some cases. But in most cases, they think they are "just expressing themselves how they know to express themselves."

Yes, they just don't give a fuck. Others just enjoy it like it's their get back for being abused earlier in their life. I'm talking only physical by the way.

Most times, probably not. But some are very manipulative and can do things and get away with it.. so those you have to be very careful about.

Not usually. If so they’re sadistic. I’m told that’s rare.
