Many also refuse to adapt to our culture and disrespect us, getting jealous and criminal when they dont get immediatly the rich standard we have worked centuries to achieve.
Also many of those coming over the sea are not "refugees", they payed lots of money to human trafficers to ship them over, on their way they toos their IDs into the sea, to net get send back. The trafficers got fairly rich and are (depending from the country) even encouraged by russian Wagner mercenairies. As it was also seen other times with Turkey and Russia, they using immigrants as a weapon, a threat.

It's racist to be anti-immigrant if what you're against is "non-Americans" or "people who don't look like you do".
But there's a lot of nuance around immigration, and there's no question that current developed countries infrastructure is not resilient or able to accomodate the increasing influx of current immigration. Nevermind the incoming mass migration due to climate change refugees.
So it's valid to have concerns about how countries will accommodate, accept, and support immigrants.

Certainly feels racist. I speak fluent Czech as my mother's side of the family is Czech. I've had the random encounter where, while on the phone with my grandma speaking Czech, I've been told to go back to Russia...

I absolutely WANT our border and immigration laws to be fully enforced. My skin is brown and half of my family is Mexican. Racism has NOTHING to with it - that's a lie created from the Left to allow them to push their agenda.
There's not a country in the world besides the US that doesn't control their border and immigration - and for damn good reason. This is even true when their next-door neighbors share their ethnicity. Look at Russia and Ukraine, for example.
America is a country that is built on immigration, but it was LEGAL immigration. I'm not against immigration - I'm VEHEMENTLY against ILLEGAL immigration. And illegal immigration is a slap in the face of every immigrant trying to come here the LEGAL way. Illegal immigration is also being exploited by drug cartels, and various countries by sending their criminals here so they don't have to deal with them. It also allows LOTS of America's enemies to easily get into the country and plan attacks, without having to deal with any vetting. Plenty of those enemies are white. It has nothing to do with race.
All this tells me is that you've only ever looked at this issue on the surface, using the buzzwords and catchphrases you've been taught, and no NOTHING about the reality of the actual problem. If you did learn all of the problems, layers, and nuances, you'd have to face the fact that what you believe - what you've been taught by Twitter and the soundbyte media, is a lie.
The reason the Left allows unchecked illegal immigration is because they believe (rightly to a large degree) that these illegal immigrants will be heavily dependent on taxpayer handouts, which the Left supports and the Right doesn't, and thus, these people will all vote Democrat. It's essentially buying votes using taxpayer money. But it also comes at huge expense of the immigrants themselves. Tons of them die, are robbed, beaten, raped, or have their kids stolen and trafficked trying to GET here, and others are forced by the cartels to sneak drugs across, and if they get caught, they get prosecuted.

Being anti immigrant doesn`t mean you are a racist. I come from Germany and our immigration policy is the dumbest thing ever. It is literally "Anyone can come whenever he wants, no matter the background". I`m not even against immigration at all, but if you have some completely unregulated immigration and just take whoever comes in, even thousands of people that never even had a passport and you don`t know who they are, what they did before, what crimes they eventually commited etc. then you are bound to worsen the living standards of that said country. As a German you are in the eyes of our left wing fellow Germans a Nazi and racist anyway, no matter what you say. You can`t say "I`m pro immigration but..." because that but already means you are a Nazi in their eyes, no discussion possible. I hate our right wing party, I would never vote for the AFD and I`m not against immigration in general, but I want immigration that actually has value for the country. Having qualified people coming into the country that actually bring value with them or people that really are in a life or die situation, not just people that want an easy life and grab some money from the state and that is 90% of what Germany took in the last 10 years.

Plenty of people jumped through every hoop immigration told them to jump through. They weren't given a “fast track” to citizenship, because they followed the law.
Do you know how insulting it is to those people who go through the proper process, played by the rules only to be told by people like you that “We need to give those who are here illegally a fast track to citizenship?”

I'm not anti immigrant. I got a big ol' household of people that benefitted from immigration and probably 2/3rds of the women I've dated wouldn't be here.
I could also see someone being anti immigrant and have nothing to do with race, they just think we have too many people here, and if they're saying no to Ireland, Israel and Egypt all the same, I don't have a problem with that. At least they're consistent in application of their belief
Of course it's racist. And that's a good thing. Do you think Japan would still be Japan if every Japanese person was replaced with Appalachian hill folk? Of course not. Japan would be nothing like it is if that were to happen. The same goes for all races and ethnicities. People aren't interchangeable production units that you can just swap out for each other like cogs in a machine.
Race, ethnicity, culture are interlinked and they all matter for preserving a people and encouraging actual multi-culturalism. Multi-culturalism as it's presented today is just shoving a bunch of unrelated people together into an economic development zone so that bankers, ceos, and politicians can get wealthy, but they tell us it's supposed to work because of "muh democracy" or some other vapid nonsense. And it does work - for them - because in their gated communities they aren't exposed to the social friction that the plebs have to experience.

Given their low skill level, the wages they are tanking are overwhelmingly the entry level wages our kids need to start families here. All while theses "immigrants" are mostly just sending the money back home to support family in countries where people are able and free to live on a small fraction of the costs here.
The result is Americans can't afford to start their lives, they can't afford housing, they can't afford bills, they can't really afford anything until and unless they somehow overcome this competition which doesn't have to afford it.
It's not about race so much as we can't just let in a bunch people who are going to be burdens on society because they have no skills, no money, can't speak English, and are going need food, shelter, and medical care paid for by the taxpayers dime. Even NYC, the biggest, wealthiest city in the country says they can't take anymore illegals so how are the small towns on the border supposed to handle this? It ain’t racist, but sure is fucked-up. I saw a video of a Black American woman being racist to her new neighbour, who is Mexican. Racism is bias on race. Anti-immigration is bias on immigration. Any race can immigrate or even be descended from other race (s). Anti-immigrants are just biased on immigrants: they show hate to immigrants regardless of race, although there’s a high intersection between those two.
