I really feel like an imposter, is it a problem?

right, I think I'm going to delay the feminist struggle in this text by five years lol

I am a feminist, I support the movement and I agree with most of the topics raised but I feel that I am not fully with the movement. I mean, I really like belonging to a guy. I like being owned by him. Look pretty for him, do things that make him happy, please him in every way possible. Sometimes I think it's just a need for male attention but, dammit, I really like it. I'm currently not in a relationship but I feel so much safer and more protected when I'm with a guy, is this all a problem? make me less independent? I feel like I'm betraying what I believe in.

Your opinions and feelings are just as valid. Don't let anyone try to make you believe otherwise. I thought feminists were against women being controlled but now I'm starting to feel like they're only against women being controlled specifically by men and not in general because they themselves seem to want to control women here.

Yeah I used to support feminism before but now I am starting to see its flaws as well. I'm not blaming all feminists here. I'm pretty sure there are reasonable ones as well. But the narrative is clearly being shaped by those who want women to fit into a certain new social norm.
