Why are some Christians judgmental and prejudice?

The Bible says thou shall love thy neighbor and thou shall not judge, so why are some Christians very judgmental, non accepting, and prejudice.

Long story short and why I will probably not be going back to church for a while is due to the fact that I was told that I will be going to hell cause I support LGBTQA+ community, I support gun control, I support pro choice/women's rights, I support interracial relationships, gay marriage, and I'm obtaining my master's degree in clinical mental health cause I want to be a children/adolescent counselor. So all that according to some, I'm going to hell. Trying to see how being a counselor/therapist that wants to help children and adolescents is a one way ticket to hell, same with supporting interracial marriage.

Why the hell is supporting interracial marriage, gun control, and wanting to be a children's therapist/counselor a one way ticket to hell. And for those that consider all that consider all that evil and unacceptable that's saddening. I can understand why some will feel a way towards the LGBTQA+ community but everything else why would that be considered evil. Saddening that some want us to go back to Jim Crow laws and not move forward. I guess instead of embracing 2024 we'll be going back to 1964

I remember my one time I was in this WhatsApp group and I exited the group because this lesbian girl kept irking me. And it was toxic. Almost all gay people's defense starts with, it's natural and animals do it. Some Monkey or pig species does it so humans must do it too 😂. Look it doesn't hurt me. Less competition for me if entire Europe becomesgay or Asia becomes gay but look it's wrong. God created humans from a Adam and Eve. And even bacteria do exchange genetic material. And indeed the sex education is a scam, hey it's like people giving logic that with birth control and protection two people didn't have intercourse. We need to protect people's innocence until marriage and then we have people who themselves made the mistake of sex before marriage and now on a mission to turn others like themselves instead. Well, I don't know who is saying that you are going to Hell. I can't comment on that, but I hope they are wrong. We all deserve Hell, but Jesus came to die on a cross as a sacrifice in our place to save us from that. So we can avoid Hell -- and go to Heaven instead -- if we put our faith in Jesus and choose to follow him. It's a narrow path, though; it won't be easy.

And in Romans, it says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.". (Romans 3:23)

... But the Good News is found just 3 chapters later!
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Romans 6:23)

Salvation is a free gift. (The price has already been paid. Jesus paid it.) We just have to willingly accept it. (In the same way that if someone sends you a package but you refuse to sign for it, you cannot receive the package.)

And some have tried to adopt with the bio parent changing their minds at the last minute while at the hospital so most don't want to take that chance. Also James is okay, just said next time someone enters we have to be married.

It's medical related then it's obviously alright but I don't know about rape.
I remember a high profile case last year where this girl and her mother tried to blackmail an affluent family. Turned out she wanted abortion. The doctors said no DNA till child is born. So, they did a DNA test and turned out the child wasn't his and she and her mother were part of a gang. But that is a different debate altogether.
Anyhow medical reasons are fine but by allowing abortion for everything else a door for abuse of sex and sacredness of marriage is undermined.
Though even the joint assets law in US is also pretty much the whole reason why Americans don't marry. Instead of trust, it gets turned into a weapon to fleece people by the lesser party

Of course miscarriage is a totally justified reason. But I am talking about when sex education instead of making people value marriage keeps them from it then it's wrong.

Take for instance, I had quite a debate on this with my university friends as well. One of them was like,"hey LGBT, sex education in schools all this is available on the internet, why don't they teach it like in US".
My answer to which even he agreed was simple.

Take an addict. It took him time to search for drugs names to get high. There is samad bond chemical very cheap and people get addicted to it's scent as well.

Now, look at a nurse or doctor blurting out names of those same chemicals to get high while teaching a whole class of doctors. F hose doctors didn't know or the psychologists didn't read about all the different chemicals, they wouldn't have been able to use it.

Simple words: Would you want to be a counselor that ended up teaching a 14-16 year old how rape is done to prevent rape 👀?
Or
Be the policeman who caught the criminal scum and taught people how he stole or robbed people and ended up teaching others how to commit the same crime as that one.

Think about it. And no, I don't mean to degrade you or anyone. I just took out time to write because I thought your issue seemed something important especially since you want to be around children

Friend, you are right about adoption process being difficult. There has been scandals and blunders where children fell into abusive families or were turned to servants then just children and in worst case abuse. So, the reason is understandable

Okay, the case was as follows.
We have a catering/buffet restaurant and company. The owner's son was accused of rape.
Poliçe put him in jail. The girl and her mother said, " he raped her 3 weeks ago" . The case is from 2021. At least that's when my lawyer told me about it in detail.
The semen test was impossible after this long time lapse. But the woman and girl said the baby was that boy's. And frankly I don't want to say this but here in my country you wouldn't want to sleep with a low class woman for free. They are not good looking. Don't get me wrong but a lot of fake cases I have to deal with or hear about that you just can't believe them on face value.

Anyhow, the girl was ordered that no abortion till the baby is born. She kept insisting on abortion. Finally the girl was put under hospital with police protection because she kept saying that guy will kilo her and so on. Finally when the DNA report reached the judge after 9 months. That guy's son was in jail for that hope time. The water and oil didn't mix in the end. The girl turned out to be a liar.

And then on further inquiry it turned out they were part of a gang of men and woman about 6-9 people who were involved. They would go work for rich people, make fake case. Since rich would usually avoid getting tarnished reputed in harassment case or simply avoid jail time. They would pay off the blackmailers. They would even pay the investigation officer as well

Their are even cases where a person got rightfully injured and the other party got a fake injury on the wife or some random girl for money and got Medical reports to make FIR (first information report) and get the guy behind bar or to avoid conviction.

And one time, this happened to me too. A begging woman cake to my house. My gate was always open. She accused my dog of biting her. And turned out it was fake but they arrested my brother wrongfully without evidence. And when I showed some back bone to the police bastard, he said oh pet it go. If it wasn't for KY sister's I would have loved to spend the night in lock up and get the Medical of that bite, which wasn't even a bit but a bruise.

I would have given her compensation in case it was a genuine bite of my dog after due course of law. That bitch bastard made those stray dogs that I kept homeless.

The latest was a harassment case in the Bhawalpur University. The claim was 4500 films of porn were made. Turned out it was a fake on inquiry. That's in news these days.

And on independence day in 2021 we had a tik tok girl say 450 people sexually assault her in broad daylight in a public place. Turned out she was also a red flag fake. She identified 3 out of 7 individuals as the assaulters when they had been in jail he whole time. All the friends and I had a sigh of relief we didn't go to Minaret e Pakistan on that day as planned because the crooked police took bribe from 250 people who were even remotely seen from the video of CCTV.

@Lucy68 I have not seen genuine cases of rape in my community in a long time. There was just one case out of entire 10 cases that was genuine. In it, the robbers raped a girl after tying her father and raping her in front of him. They were caught and punished.

@Lucy68 you are a doctor/counselor but hear me out. Don't let a person's words cloud/influence you against someone. Especially when criminal offense has been committed. Most important for you if you are going to be in counselling and dealing with sexual assault victims. Do sympathize with them. But don't let it fool you. Sometimes victims point towards someone as the criminal but even they are unsure. They are not at fault but sometimes they are victim on two ends. Being used by someone, and being abused by them at the same time.

Like this guy was beaten with sticks by gang and then when he reported to police with legal medical certificate (which has his injuries) the other party did the unthinkable. They went ahead and beat up one of their own girl and paid her money. There is a long medical jurisprudence that goes into seeing those cases. And then we knew that girl was not beaten by him 🤣. Of course, we knew because there was video graphic evidence that he was the real victim, not the woman. She was beaten elsewhere and taken to hospital to register a fake counter case.

If I did same, then I wouldn't be talking to @Jamie05rhs and you. I had been led to believe a lot of bad things about US and it's people 😅. Luckily, thank God I never believed them haha.

God Bless you on that Master’s Degree in Mental Health, and I pray you will find a Church where God directs you to go. I've been mentally ill since age 21. Some people who call themselves Christians, we got to beware of them because they are devils. My late Grandma was a loving full-blooded Scots, but she believed in praying at home and I know for fact she is in Heaven. She loved all people no matter what race, sex gender, etc. they were. I inherited my personality from her. She was a sweet woman.

I don't entirely agree with either you or the Christians that tell you your views are incorrect and I definitely do not agree with them trying to disrespect your therapy practice. I think most of the ideas you said agree with the bible, but even it did not, you are trying out of your own compassion and kindness to help vulnerable children, and should be honoured and respected for your effort. I think if there are theological differences between yourself and what the traditional bible says, those are things you can sort out through your life experience, if you want to, and also the Christians that criticize you do not understand the bible that well either as their views contradict it too. I hope you don't abandon your belief in the a loving and caring God because of these Christians.

I don't go to church even though I'm religious because I believe that when you are mature, your faith does not need a house of prayer or bible study to survive and be maintained. I wish you well and I hope you know you are respected and what you try to do is good and you are worth all respect and kindness. One reason I recommend believing in God is that if you don't believe in God, you don't have anybody you can pray to when a problem comes your way and that makes surviving the trauma and pain much harder and much less effective. I don't want you to lose the coping mechanism that all religious people have, which is the ability to pray to God when they need help, I believe this can make you feel much happier when life is harder than it should be.

They are sick. They are around... too many. People can become deluded as they turn from their own flaws and focus on others.

I'm Christian, I don't judge people at church or in person. Bringing people to Christ is the work and let Christ do the work in them. It isn't up to those people to tell them their problems when they roll around in their own muck. Most people I found to be judgmental had serious issues themselves. I think it's basically avoidance and projection... e. g. sadness at it's core... as they ignore their own problems to project onto others. Note I can be harsh at times, but haven't been in person, the internet can bring out my worst unfiltered responses.

find a place that is more accepting. I don't go around blabbering about my political views, but I'll put people in their place if they bring it up. I did that with those that pushed the abortion issue at church. I agree with you. Not every church thinks the same way either.

We need more Counselors, including Christian ones. If you learn how things work in the human, you can help them out of the trauma boxes they are stuck in. That's all it is... wounds in development, personality conflicts. The Bible is helpful to understand the problem and offers a good solution, via unconditional love of God.

There's a lot you could throw back at those people from the Bible.

You might be confusing "judgement" with simply "recognition of sin". This is what makes me laugh about atheists and non-believers. They erroneously think that when I person is "saved" that they are supposed to no longer be human. That they cannot have human failings anymore. I mean it goes without saying that abortion is murder. And murder is a sin. No amount of whitewashing will change that FACT. You don't get to debate God on this. Rant all you want. At the end it'll still be a sin. This DOESN'T mean however you throw the person away who committed the abortion. NO ONE is worthy of God's love. Not you, not ME! None of us! So whether you've sinned once or a 1000 times God loves you all the same. He doesn't like your sinning and he doesn't want that for you. Where SOME Christians get tripped up is they let thier human failings creep in rather than fighting it. It's human to judge another human being but as I already explained if you've sinned once or a 1000 times you're still just as equally undeserving of God's love. you cannot buy your way into God's love through good works, sure God loves when you do his will, but you cannot buy favor with him. Some Christians can lose sight of this fact if they forget thier place. Jesus set the example for us he dwelt among the lowliest of the low, the sinners and prostitutes. Because they needed God's love more than anyone. We're supposed to follow Jesus's example and love, help, and lift our brothers and sisters up. Not judge them! God is the only one qualified to do that. So rather than get angry with these Christians pity them. Because they heard God's message and the most important part went right past them.

The bible does say that but there's also a difference between judging and making guidance calls, if someone was going to walk off a cliff, wouldn't you warn them? We aren't suppose to judge but we aren't suppose to just let you walk into sin either, or walk into something that might make you fall more into sin, you'd know if it's judgement and I hope you know the difference between judgment and a helping hand cause if you are throwing it all into the same jar, at some point you'll run into the problems you were being warned to avoid, usually the best way to tell the difference is that they are warning you if they tell you the solution on that specific problem they are warning you about then it's most likely them trying to help and they aren't judging you to shame You, if they are doing it to shame you then they are just simply not following the word of god.

My job requires me to go into a lot of people's yards. In front of one house was a sign that said "This house protected by the good Lord and a gun. If you trespass, you might meet both". Do you remember the part of the Lord's prayer where Jesus told His followers to pray "Bust a cap in our asses for our trespasses, as we mow down those who trespass against us"? No, you don't- because that's not what He said, or anything like ANYTHING He would have said. You can go in for that crazy territoriality, or you can go in for Christianity, but not both.

For some people, religion (Christian or otherwise) is just an excuse to feel self-righteous while they criticize others. They're just as bad as the ones who use it as an excuse to stop thinking.

Exactly what denomination of a church do you go to? Doesn't sound like you spent much time learning what the Bible says for yourself. Especially the parts that tell how the king of liars - Satan - tries to direct you away from the truth by having blowhards tell you that you are going to hell for sinning. Okay I will tell you a funny thing 🤣. We did a research study on intersex people. We have those or allegedly a lot of those in our streets begging. Some are real and I am not taking about them.

Turned out when the guys went to interview them as a group, not a single of them was a real intersex. Just one was really that others were just guys pretending to be intersex 👀.
