So Today is September 11th, so the 9/11 happened 22 years ago, does y’all have any memories, did u recall where u were that day and what u doing, how old were u (if u were already born ofc lol), were u there and or know peoples that were there?
I turned on the TV after the first tower got hit. Then I saw the second tower get hit. I thought "HOLY SHIT!"
When I saw both towers collapse I was horrified. Then the third tower collapsed.
After I watched reruns and thought about it, I realized that those were controlled demolitions. Impacts and fires couldn't make towers like that collapse in their own footprints at free fall speed. Those demolitions had been pre-planned.
After years of reading, I'm positive that 911 wasn't a surprise attack by some Islamic terrorists.
I just watched a pod cast and documentary about the boat lift that rescued thousands of people from Manhattan Island on 911. I had never heard that story before. Without government assistance, private boats rescued 500,000 desperate survivors, way more than were rescued at Dunkirk. The biggest boat lift in history was completed within a few hours of the collapse of the towers.
Why that isn't that taught and celebrated as part of our national history?
FEMA prevented people from helping survivors after Hurricane Katrina and the Lahaina fire. Hmmm

i commemorated this year but not think about me. now that you ask, wow... long ago... i was still a rabbi then and we were praying to god that people should escape the buildings on fire. i heard, a couple days later that year, 2001, most managed to escape before the buildings fell.
i also saw a conspiracy clip that the direct flight, had an emergency landing, in Cleveland, where everyone got out before it continued empty... to hit the second tower.
I was briefly dating this guy at the time. He had left my apartment, but then called me about a half hour later which I found odd. When I saw his number, I said "Hello" and he only said the words, "Turn on your TV."
I was only born 3 weeks before it happened, so I have no memories of it. I’m not American so it wasn’t even something that was brought up or talked about during my childhood.

I live in UK, I was in the office, we had just moved offices so we were unpacking when news of the first crash came through. Think we saw the second one hit as we had tv on. People were just standing around in shock as it all unfolded.
There were some concerns that the area we were in maybe a potential target should there be any hijack in UK. No one knew when it would stop and how wide the plan went.I was walking back to the barracks from the retention officer’s office. Camp LeJeune, one of numerous Marine Corps bases. The retention officer had just got done talking to me about re-enlisting. I was 23 at the time. I got back to the barracks the “boots” called me by rank, said, “check this shit out.” W in a couple hours everyone had their gear packed. Many of us were mad, but excited too because there was a possibility we were going to deploy for a war.
I was 6 year old and I remember watching it on TV
I remember getting so sad and angry and promising myself to join the military and Dad being proud of me for that lol
I was at the university and experienced it all live on radio/TV as it happened. It was shocking, surreal and soon clearly recognizable as the prelude to darker times.
I saw a post today that they just identified two more people from this incident 2 decades later
There was a ceremony at out town square. Local politicians were there giving speeches and we sang patriotic songs.
In high school. I remember the day. Watching it on tv in home room. Not sure schools would allow that today….
I was a toddler.
