Changing future is possible. But for all the time? Life is so much more complicated and entangled to each other. It's tough it's very very tough it's like fighting each and every moment but if we really want to change we could. It is very much possible just it needs looootsssss of energy even almost would feel like totally drained up and feeling to give up but still if we are determined we can change our future.
It's a challenge question. If you even save for example, one person... whom otherwise would have died without you, you've changed history for all time.
It seems you have infinite energy in the present?
For want of a nail, in spite of a nail. We can't know every possible chain reaction or juncture point of wills and consequences. So some changes may have been major, and my influence. Other times, things I say or do may have no noticeable impact. However, I've found that even if I do have an impact, it usually happens where I don't get to observe it. So worrying over it all as if I could control every part of it all is a fruitless waste of time.
I survived a near death situation in a strange way that I still don't understand. I wondered if it maybe meant that I was supposed to do something really important. Fast forward 30 years and I have not cured cancer or stopped a runaway train. However, now I wonder if one of my kids will be the one to do this.
yes that's where I'm going with this. it is hard to see the down stream ripple effects of each action you take, but each one impacts history.

Every decision I've made changes the future. Especially the one to have a child.

My future. People in my orbit have a bit of my influence on their future. It’s all perspective.
No, I believe in hard determinism.
