Do you think that women can be losers also?

We criticize men for being sub-par citizens; either being over-weight, unemployed, unmotivated, criminally minded, addicted to drugs including weed. And most men are fine with the criticism, the bum knows that he's a bum. However, why are we so hesitant in calling out women who are the same. If we live in a world of increasing equality and feminism, should women be allowed to coast by only by their looks and nothing more what they bring to the relationship or society in general.

Women generally get much softer treatment by society for shitty behavior and/or being underachievers.

Not say they completely get left off the hook. But women really are considered “special” JUST for existing. However men know damn well they aren’t special for existing. Men who do act this way are considered pathetic and weak. Some might act “special” when they are young but the real world smacks it out of them quick (e. g. “man up”)

Guys know they will be judged for their actions and even if the judgement is unfair/ignorant nobody is going to feel sorry for us if we get punished and/or come up short.

However the issue is most women (not all but definitely more than 50%) don’t even acknowledge this double standard at a subconscious level. Reason being is from an evolutionary perspective they expected to depend on men to provide & protect them throughout all of human history. Now in the western world they have equal (and some case MORE than equal) rights and independence.

But still at a subconscious level they want men to take care of them. This includes men feeling having sympathy and mercy on them for shitty/underachieving behavior. Again this all ties into the “being special” entitlement they have for just existing.

Just FYI I know above is very cynical but it’s true. I’ve just seen way too many women in my lifetime act like this. Men on the other hand are expendable. If we are miserable we know nobody is going save us and only we can improve our circumstance (again “man up”).

It’s time more women get “equal” societal judgement for loserish behavior. Let them get the school of hard knocks to see being a man isn’t as great as they mistakenly want to believe.

It's not about whether one gender can be losers and another cannot. Clearly we know and see losers all over.

What I think OP is really trying to say, is that in terms of dating and attraction, men don't care if a woman is a loser, and women do care if a man is a loser.

Of course I know men will reply and claim they don't want a woman who is a loser. But that is not the baseline of what attracts you to a woman. Her lack of loser qualities. Maybe you dated losers and decided not to date them anymore.

For women it seems like it is a baseline for them. They are always on the lookout for losers from day 1.

Just look at all of the male incels. You don't see them dating. They're all shit out of luck.

Because girls don't fuck with losers. Period.

On the flip side, men, will fuck with any kind of woman. Including dirty disgusting repulsive stinky smelly nasty ones who smoke drink cough too much.

Yea yea it's all a spectrum. Sure some men have standards. But there I'd ALWAYS a man for a woman.

The reverse is not true. There are in fact loser men who never get any. Those are the rules of nature.

Yeah, I'm a loser woman myself. I'm unattractive, I have a shit min wage job and a weird personality. Not a criminal of any sort tho. People care but not as much as for men because women don't claim themselves as leaders of the world and superior sex. People will tell you lol you have no money and you will never find a man and you're a childless failure but that's different than with men. Men claim they rule the world, are naturally superior to everyone, are leaders of their familles. So of course when they fail miserably people put their finger on it more harshly.

Yes, without question! But the world we've lived in up till the past couple generations women have largely only been EXPECTED to produce and raise offspring (ONLY... yeah that's actually no small ask really if she's doing her job well). But now in the world we live in expectations are changing. We're not there yet. But I see it in the younger generations than me. Guys expect a woman to carry her weight just as much in a relationship as him.
