Guys cannot show persistence anymore, because they will be seen as a threat and a creep. Women are quick to call "harassment" and "stalking" and to criminalize a man for trying.

Trying to talk to and woo a woman is like playing a video game on expert level as a novice. You only have one chance and if you screw up, it is game over and you cannot recover. There is no respawning. That is how I feel.

I am 29 and never had a real girlfriend. Being on the Autistic Spectrum is difficult enough. Today's woman have just made the process more complicated than it needs to be.

@DarkLegacy Are you serious? What about the sensitivity issues? In my case it's flickering lights and loud, sudden noises like motorcycles, bagpipes and babies screaming. Then of course there is the tendency to take everything literally (including jokes), the inability to read body-language (especially flirting), the deafness to voice-tone, the meltdowns/breakdowns, and the need for predictability and repetition, to list just a few.
If you don't think it's horrible, then you don't have it, and might have something else or nothing at all.

The thing to do is get off the internet. Girls can be extraordinarily picky on the internet because of the laws of supply and demand. But in real the situation is reversed. Volunteer for stuff. Take up yoga. The more you put yourself in public the more reason you have to be around women. And the more you are around women for a reason the better they will understand you and you them.
