Why are White American people and Japanese, the ony ones who enjoy doing free labor?

White Americans LOVE free labor! Are they doing it to make a mends for forcing Africans to do free labor?

Well it's called community work where locals band together to try to make the area a nicer or better place to live in and it takes many forms.

People enjoy it because it gives them a chance to socialise with others in the community, meet new people and so on. I actually met my husband through volunteer work for my local church. Before the only place I could have met people were in clubs, pubs and at school.

That's church though. And especially if they send you on a mission to another country, you're not exactly doing it for free, because the church is paying you to live in another country. But why would anyone ever work for free in a museum or landscaping or city hall? I find it funny, how people suddenly stop caring about your work experience and resumes when you offer to work for free

The Catholic Church runs any number volunteer projects, my old church had a huge amount of things from Saint Vincent de Paul's, plays, feis, concerts, coffee mornings, visiting the elderly, trocaire, counciling, schools etc.
Most people who volunteer I find is older retired people or people looking to build their cv. People volunteer at museums and city Hall when little money is available.
I notice a lot of parents volunteer in schools in America like big time, usually in the better schools.
Basically volunteering has the effect of making your community better, I see this in America in that the vest and safest communities have a strong core of volunteers.

Exactly. I don't know of any other religions that volunteer and do mission work, at least not to the extent that Christians do.

Exactly! THAT, and I do also think it's a bit of an ego thing for them. They think people will like them better if they volunteer.

You've told me before. And I remembered that the English parts of Canada do it it, but non-Whites usually say they'd never work for free. And most people outside from the US are shocked when I tell them this.

There was a museum in Chicago that fired all old White female volunteers and hired a bunch of black women, for pay. So it does seem to almost only be White people who are suckers and work for no pay, with the exception of Japanese cleaning stadiums. Even most church missionaries are White
