Programming is very difficult, and I've tried it. When Biden suggested that the pipe-fitters just become programmers, it was probably the dumbest thing he's ever said.

Its not even a secure job because there is coding assistant AI now, them becoming maintenance technicians would make much more sense as its closer to their experience and we need those much more. But in general shutting pipelines down is a dumb idea.
