In New Hampshire you can vote in the Republican Primary even if you are a Democrat. All you have to do is walk in and say "Yes, I am a registered Democrat, but I am changing my affiliation to Independent." That's it. Then you can do anything you want to fake the vote for Nikki Haley because you hate President Trump.

The word is out, this scam is already organized. So don't be fooled if Trump doesn't do as well as he did in Iowa. It's a Democrat organized scam.

And their media is in on it too. Their job is to report about how Trump is in trouble after the vote and how Haley is going to beat him. It's all a scam. The fix is already in.

Over 50% of Nikki Haley's voters in Iowa were Democrats doing exactly what you're describing. As a non US citizen I've never really understood the registered voter concept. If you are a registered voter I take it you can say you are normally either a Republican or Democrat voter and get to vote for who will be eventually the candidate for those parties. What does being independent give you?

I imagine Democtrats would like the worse Republican candidate to eventually be standing and vice versa. Can only Democrat registered voters vote in the democrat primaries and vice versa republican.

It depends on the state they live in. Some states have what is called "open voting" in their primaries where anyone can vote, have "closed voting" where only people who are registered voters in the party that is holding the primary can vote and still others have a mix of both with certain exceptions allowed such as if you declare yourself an "independent" voter which means you claim no party affiliation.

No, it depends on the state. Some states only allow you to vote in a primary if it is the primary of your own party. Other states only allow you to vote if you are unaffiliated with a party or of the same party as the primary.
