I disagree completely, some not all of women have and are still trying to kill it. I will continue to be a gentleman. I open doors for any girls, I'm prepared for the day and girl yells at me and I'm just going to say sorry and ignore it, it is a sign of respect not that you can't do it yourself. When I get a girl I will open doors for her, walk her to her car and all these things. If you don't like it don't go out with me.
Chivalry is outdated bullshit that essentially exalted women and downgraded men. No, I'm not going to put you on a pedestal just because you have a pussy and less upper body strength than I do. You can go out there in the world and earn your living and you can even defend yourself with a gun.
You're either coming to the table with me as an equal or I am dipping ✋
Feminism killed it and feminism is all about female superiority. They believe a man’s act of chivalry is putting them down somehow. Making them somehow less than. Second classes. Whatever. Yet women aren’t chivalrous to men. They’re the exact opposite. They criticize and demonize men in order to empower themselves somehow. That is how women are killing/killed chivalry. And non-feminist women are just allowing it to happen.
I'm not sure it's mathematically possible for most knights to have married princess, even if many princesses did marry knights. There was an estimated 5-10k knights at any given time, but the king certainly didn't have that many daughters and granddaughters.
chivalry isn't dead. those that actually do so are around plenty and simply don't do so for recognition.

Chivalry is men treating women as special. Today's women are no longer special. In fact, they have worked very hard to NOT be special, and they no longer deserve the privilege to be treated that way.
it is true because every behavior men to show appreciation to women is labeled chauvinisstic these days. men do not have a "masculine" way to show appreciation that is socially acceptable anymore.
@OtterMan68 I have had women not happy with holding a door open. These were at corporate offices so they wanted to not be different but they just pissed me off a bit and that isn’t a good thing to do at a corporate office where people remember.
ókay serious answer, I feel like women get blamed a lot in society for stuff lately especially since the feminism movement. They play a few videos on you tube of mean girls mistreating guys and automatically assume every single girlie in the world is mean as if they have met everrryyy single girl in the world 😒. Why can't Dave just say Chivalry is dead and not blame women or any body for that? These sorts of generalizations which are based on research from a few hundred women in comparison to a world of billions of women isn't helping.
Chivalry is where men do things for women, but the feminist movement was telling men to fuck off and that women are independent and can handle themselves
Feminists and woke are pushing for the idea that women don't require protection which is in a way a luxury belief like pushing for defunding the police if you have private security.

It's still okay if you'd like to act out with kindness only for the ones you love. ✌️
Sure, so long as we are equals.
Women don't kill chivalry our masters using the schools and media they own killed some chivalry and blame it on the women.
That's exactly right.

The medieval knight system has been dead for a very long time, and women had nothing to do with it.
A lot of princesses married knights. So most the knights married up now down
I'm not sure it's mathematically possible for most knights to have married princess, even if many princesses did marry knights. There was an estimated 5-10k knights at any given time, but the king certainly didn't have that many daughters and granddaughters.
It's not dead. A person will mostly always get treated by how they carry themselves.
A lady will be treated like a lady and a bit&% like a b*&#%
Chivalry is not dead despite the efforts of many women some of us were raised right and will always be gentlemen
I used to think it died
but I was wrong about it
chivalry isn't dead. those that actually do so are around plenty and simply don't do so for recognition.

Like? Can you provide an example please?
Do today's women cook for their man? I have yet to meet a woman my age who can do much more than boil water.
Do today's women mother a man's children, or do they pay daycare workers to do it for them?
Tell me how today's women are special in any way that would compel a man to treat her as such. And no, I'm not referring to sex.
I believe that there are plenty of women who are willing to do such things... only for the man they love.
Oh for sure, they do exist. But they are few and far between anymore.
Agreed, at opinionowner

I have never encountered a woman who was not appreciative of me holding the door for her and letting her go first
@OtterMan68 I have had women not happy with holding a door open. These were at corporate offices so they wanted to not be different but they just pissed me off a bit and that isn’t a good thing to do at a corporate office where people remember.
I have a feel that most of the complainers are from the north
I’ve seen girls be very rude over guys doing polite things like holding doors open. A lot of women take advantage of guys being nice in general.
Dave is mad a women hurt him thats why he said it but he'll find a new bae soon so it's fine 👍

Chivalry is effectively dead, but women didn't kill it. Feminism did.
Chivalry?
it died a long time ago... along with the dragons and the crusades,
Chivalry is where men do things for women, but the feminist movement was telling men to fuck off and that women are independent and can handle themselves
Too many people want all the pros but none of the cons
There’s many men who still practice chivalry. If Chivalry was dead it would be Both Women a Men Who killed it overtime.
