Hey anon I'm not rich but you deciding you can't invest anything nothing the market on your own is your ignorance. If you have a 401k like I do it does impact middle class. I'm barely middle class for where I live and living paycheck to paycheck but I'm securing financial future by taking advantage of the market. No 401k get in an IRA or Roth IRA and let it help you. The problem is, lack in education regarding investing in ones future, despite how little they make.

The hard part, that people don't want to do today, is sacrifice now for tomorrow. So the market does affect lower to middle class folks if you just invest in it even a little.

You have no idea what you're talking about. The market long term produces results way higher than inflation. Short term you can't make big money period unless you're already loaded. Avg people can make a large retirement for themselves if they start young and consistently invest in the market systematically. My 401k (22 years of investing) is a ridiculously large amount right now. You're neglecting or unsure how compound interest works. Since I have over 22 years in the market, I can project that I will have at least 4 million by the time I'm 62 iny 401k if I continue to do what I'm doing and maintain my avg rate of return I have been getting for the last 22 years. That's not including my home value, savings and other investments or social security.

This isn't and won't be f you rich but how many Americans retire with that much? Almost nobody. I make an ok salary now more than avg but crazy. So you're wrong. People are just uneducated about how to save and aren't disciplined. What you are describing is an excuse people give themselves to say nothing matters and say there's no way to save.

That said it's not easy to do what I'm doing and it's really sacrificing my disposable income for right now but all I can hope is that I stay healthy, keep myself healthy so I won't have to give a crap when I retire.

Here are his achievements so far. You're not going to see how he helped. Did he help everyone exponentially? No. Does any president 4 years double everyone's salary ( he can't do that blame your job). We have lower inflation than the rest of the world being it's a global problem not just a US problem. Read their achievements and say it didn't affect avg people at all positively. If you don't agree with this then you're just not being honest. You can say he didn't get your job to increase your pay, he didn't stop corporations from being greedy and causing inflation so they could profit more.

Personal example for friends and family that live 10 miles from me. They got, through the infrastructure act, brand new state of the art sewer systems that were desperately needed. Look up how many states have benefitted from the infrastructure act
