My own dad has a home that is a little over a million in worth and it is not a fraction of the luxury or size of Trump's property. My dad's home does not have chandeliers, gold plating and massive space.

By the way, Maralago is a massive lot that stretches across the entire landmass so it actually has TWO coastlines... Which makes it exponentially more valuable than any of the other properties around it, some of which are claimed to be over $20M themselves despite being tool sheds by comparison.

You really know nothing about nothing, do you? First of all, Trump paid around 7 million $ for the property in 1985, which should make people at least question this 1981 valuation. Then - to avoid taxes - he put deed restrictions on it and turned it from a residential property that could be further enhanced and developed into a social club, that has to stay as-is.

There can certainly be differences of opinion on valuation, but this is obviously one of the many examples of abuse of the legal system against candidate Trump. And since when is an obviously biased judge or prosecutor a valuation expert?

Mar-A-Lago isn't the easiest property to value, but surely there is some comparables. And deed restrictions are generally put into place to maintain property values.
