My own dad has a home that is a little over a million in worth and it is not a fraction of the luxury or size of Trump's property. My dad's home does not have chandeliers, gold plating and massive space.

You really know nothing about nothing, do you? First of all, Trump paid around 7 million $ for the property in 1985, which should make people at least question this 1981 valuation. Then - to avoid taxes - he put deed restrictions on it and turned it from a residential property that could be further enhanced and developed into a social club, that has to stay as-is.

Mar-A-Lago isn't the easiest property to value, but surely there is some comparables. And deed restrictions are generally put into place to maintain property values.
