Why do women think this a creepy?
I haven't talked to a single nurse or physician who has tried to differentiate "skin-to-skin" contact as meaning "a mother's skin only with the baby's skin". Children need any skin-to-skin contact. Preferably an immediate parent, but anyone will do. The contact isn't about who's nurturing, but about the baby's biochemical need for touch. They require it or else they'll die from form of "failure to thrive". This is one of the reasons I don't go on Twitter/X anymore. I hate seeing people like this.
I would say that lunatic finds it creepy…not “women”
Absolutely not! Skin to skin is encouraged for baby and parents! It helps with bonding. Skin to skin benefits can be had without feeding? I think the girl judging, is misunderstanding what she’s seeing? Maybe she thinks the dad is trying to feed the baby or something but he’s not, he’s just holding baby close for bonding and health of baby (it helps the baby regulate itself).
it's called skin to skin and is literally known as a bonding experience. the poster in the photo is an ultimate dumbass who should not breed.

Larisa has rbf, hasn't gotten laid in three years, and eats TV dinners every night. Don't pay any attention to her.
Dude isn't trying to breastfeed the kid. The hospital likely promoted skin-to-skin care to encourage parental bounding. The wife likely wanted him to be involved in the child's life, and being a proud father he was like sure I love my kid if you think skin-to-skin contact will help I do anything for my child.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/6cv_MKrX0wUThe dumb bitch is just jealous of happy parents, so she lashes out in the most predictable way, „men = creepy“.
That woman is just toxic AF. She'd be the one complaining when her man doesn't claim her kid as his own. F her opinion.
just a little.. his smile is not doing any justice rn.
So fathers can't even hold their kids close them now? Jesus, leave it to a cunt of a woman to ruin the smallest thing for a man.
what the heck no it's not creepy do you know how many kids in the world have never even been hugged by their dad? it's beautiful to see a father love their child.
Perfectly normal for Dad and Baby to be touching each other. It would be creepy if a Dad didn't want to do this.
There's certainly some very pathetic lowlifes roaming the planet.
And I do sincerely hope that @helpfulwoman won't mind me fully reiterating her comments.
oh, i don't mind at all <3 :)
isn’t skin to skin encouraged from both parents?
McGregor might be a complete prick but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be allowed to hold his baby.
It's called skin-on-skin contact and it's very important to a child's development. The attempts to diminish and belittle men just keep falling to all sorts of new levels of ignorance and stupid.
It's normal for dads to do skin to skin with their babies. My husband did it with our 3rd baby just mintues after he was born because I wasn't able to hold him
Is it compulsory that babies need skin to skin contact with either of their parents shortly after they are born?
I suspect three things: Larisa has no kids. She has no good men in her life. She has a future involving a lot of cats and long nights in front of a TV.
not creepy. also men feed babies by bottle and spoon.
Once you get the memo that society expects everything and anything a man does is creepy, it won't hit you as hard.
why is this creepy. i used to hold my kids with no shirt on.
Did you strip off in the hospital on the day of the birth though, in front of the midwife and nurses?
The above shot looks like it was taken in a hospital room
Don't think women think this is creepy. Crazies think this is creepy. That Larisa just happens to be one of the crazies.
No, it's not creepy but the baby might think it is. ook at it's face
I held my daughter like that when she was a baby. We both liked it.
No, it is not. Skin to skin contact with an infant is good for him or her.
I did that for both my kids. Fathers are equal parents and have a right to form a bond.
That has to be one of the stupidest things I’ve heard
That woman is an idiot. Small infants can easily slip out of your hand so you have to hold them closely and tightly.
the pic seems lovely to me
Because they don't think a man can show love and nurturing and still be masculine.
Dude would be creepy without the fucking baby.
Wow there nothing more Sweeter than standing wherever as the woman gives birth and the moment love is turn on at first sight
Nope. he's happy and holding his kid
If I had done this with my daughter my ex would have accused me of molesting her.
Of course not.
Only weirdos think this is creepy
Explain why ANYONE would think it creepy?
Nope, it's not
You believe internet?
no...
Nope.
Not at all.
