Why do people become violent if they have money and power and status?

I was reading a domestic violence case involving a very rich celebrity today, and I wonder of material things can corrupt the heart.

I have to disagree. You're actually more likely to become violent when you have less to lose. I do say that rich people allow themselves to be more themselves and with that I say doing something because they want to regardless of what the world thinks. If he's not hurting or disturbing anyone, there is no problem. At the end of the day he's rich.

The rich are less likely to do crime. And why would they? They're already rich. When you're poor, you have less to lose and more to gain. If you don't have what you need to survive, one usually tries to do what it takes to survive or to escape the situation (alcohol, drugs).

Money does not change anyone.
A violent poor person will be a violent rich person after getting money.
A poor jerk will be a rich jerk.
Money just makes it easier to do those things and amplifies people's true selves.
A generous poor person will become a generous rich person , for example.

I've seen where people that had a lot of money or celebrities they throw fits because they know people watch and listen to them. I look at the as a bunch of little crybabies that haven't grown up and that's how they know how to get their way. People that have actually earned their way up the ladder they are pretty good people. You wouldn't know that they were rich cuz they acted normal and they were humble.
