Good question.
There was a time when guys who thought they were Napoleon or Jesus Christ, and women who thought they were Joan of Arc or Cleopatra were kept in nut houses.
I think it's even crazier for a man to think he is a woman and for a woman to think she is a man. When will it be reasonable for people to be taken seriously when they think they are a different species or a mythological creature?
I identify as a centaur with wings. It would be uninclusive and disrespectful to disagree.

It’s just about a very simple principle of living your own life and never concerning yourself with what others are doing. That’s really Life Rule #1 to me. Mind your business, you don’t have to like it, you don’t have to understand it, you just need to accept that it exists and that your opinion on the matter is irrelevant.
If you don’t accept trans people that’s fine. Just stay away from them and never harass them.

Because its none of your business. I could go into detail about how what you said is incorrect and that they have the right to determine that themselves, but quite frankly that is giving this argument too much legitimacy simply by considering it.
To put it bluntly. Who they identify as is a personal and PRIVATE thing that outside people have no right to interfere with, end of story. You don't. You just have to follow the same rules as with everyone else: don't harrass people, (at least pretend to) respect coworkers and customers, and don't discriminate when hiring or selling to them.
And you don't even really have to do that stuff. You probably won't get in trouble if you don't. You might though. If someone reports you you may get talked to about it by a superior, or if it's a legal thing and there's record of you doing it you could maybe get like a fine or something.
But why would you even want to be given an exception to these rules just for trans people? Why do you want to harrass, disrespect, and discriminate against them in particular?
People change there birth names all the time. They also take on random nicknames and internet handles. Actors always had a stage name.
It's basic nessesitys of being polite you ask the person their name and you address them accordingly. That's how it's always been.
We Don't want a prostate exam being the new handshake to check genders do we? Or should we take people how they introduce themselves?
We don't have to do nothing!!
transgenders are discussing and that's a unchanged thing for me, i have a zero respect or empathy for them, so all i am going to do is to ignore them, not making them my friend, not starting conversations with them and not insulting or harming them
It is so simple if you don't like someone you avoide him/her/it I don't know
So do the same just don't give a fu#k
My thought process is that they're still people... People are people... pretending like they don't exist isn't going to make them go away.
Transgenders are obsessed with gender, the tranmen should just be tomboys, that's all.
That is a great question. Ask a liberal that and watch their little head explode
We don't, regardless of what the deranged leftards demand. These people are disturbing, demented freaks and I don't want them in my presence.
You are entitled to your own opinion of it but you have no right to be actively hostile about it.
What did transgenders do to you to make you so angry?
Well now we're getting into whether your mind or body determines what you are.
No one has to accept joke of people who pretend to be something they're not. Talk about insecure in their own bodies.
Because I am not a dick. It's that simple.
What does "acceptance" mean to you?
Very good point and the answer is we shouldn't.
