Many rich and famous people in Hollywood grew up in poverty or dysfunctional families.

Jewel and Seal and Jim Carey were all homeless before they became famous. Oprah became pregnant through an assault at a young age.

My very rich grade school classmate also had hidden drama she never shared openly with the world. It’s absolutely crazy how much she earns now cause when we were kids, she was the dumb one who always got mediocre grades and had mediocre athletic skills. Now she’s a marathon runner and competitive athlete and medical sciences business owner.

No, more so people who persevere get rewarded more often for their hard work. Adversity tends to make more people persevere is all.
