Here's an example of an interview that was removed from youtube. I don't know why it was removed, can't find it... and it isn't the first time this happened. I can only suspect some people don't want this information getting out... but whom knows. It's just an interview with perspectives and opinions.

As a creator, I really should. I think it's fucked up how YouTube made smaller channels that are ineligible for monetization basically sign an agreement that YouTube can profit off their channel, and the creator won't receive a single dime. But I'm sort of screwing them back by using copyrighted music in my videos, so that way the money is going to the artist.

In fact, that's one reason I stay on YouTube, is because YouTube still allows you to use copyrighted music and show people, without having to present a release form.

Also, Rumble is quite hypocritical because the promote themselves as a platform that allows free speech, but then has a policy against "anti-Semitism", and "racism". I find it hilarious how they listed "anti-semtism" and "racism" as two separate things, while having no policy against discriminating against other religious groups. It's pretty clear where their allegiance lies, and who's giving them money.

I do think YouTube is stupid for demonetizing channels for using swear words, or words like "terrorists", "mass shootings", "sex offenders", etc... especially if they're doing it to independent journalists who are simply reporting other people's opinions.

I think their monetization policies are extremely unfair. And they literally have an option that says, "the artist gave me permission to use their song", but then tell you, you can't monetize your video even if permission from the artist.

But Rumble is honestly no better. YouTube is at least clear on where they stand, while Rumble claims to be one thing, but its policies suggest otherwise.

I'm not interested in places that claim they are starting up to tell some "real truth" or whatever. I'd first need to know where they got their startup money. But even if it wasn't predictably granted by some far right billionaire trying yet another approach to con people into giving him their tax money as a subscription cost to yet more grievance culture, I still don't have much time for political entertainment and don't find far right culture war nonsense entertaining anyway.

I use both. Only because Rumble still has a long way to go to be as stable as YouTube. The mobile website still takes an unnecessarily long time to load videos when I first launch the page that plays the video. On PC however it works just as well.

i stopped publishing on youtube. and started rumble or Tumblr. different usernames.

Overall I am happy with YT. I don't like their censorship and they pick on content creators.

I use both. Some good content creators simply don't migrate to Rumble.

I watch Andrew Tate on Rumble. He keeps insulting me as a brokie.

I don't watch political BS anywhere
