Because what happened in the distant past doesn't effect people who are living their normal lives in peace. And only Israel has driven Palestinians out of their homes, stolen their property, confined them in gigantic open-air prisons, deprived them of food, water, energy and medical care, deemed them all to be terrorists for just wanting independence, and taken joy in indiscriminately murdering thousands (70% of them women and children) in a manner that is worst than the holocaust.

Israel has been doing that for over 75 years. Do you think you would complain if that were happening to you?

It is beyond cynical for Israel to claim that Palestinians resent Israel because they hate Jews. They don't hate Jews. They never did.

There were no wars to "conquer" Palestine. Are you talking about ancient empires like Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Egypt, Macedonia and Rome that claimed the Levant? Nobody swept through and tried to eliminate the indigenous populations.

Pretty sure Palestinians hates Egyptians as well, its just that Israel is a bit more of a pressing issue for them. Also its not because Egypt has a history of invasions, its because Egypt has a very hostile history with Palestinians that I say this and the feeling is mutual which is why Egypt is perfectly fine closing down the border and letting Israel kill all the Palestinians they want.
