If you are that nihilistic, I suggest you speak to a priest or psychotherapist. When I hear something nasty about people. I try to balance it by reminding myself of all the good people can do. I'm a teacher, so I have heard about all kinds of abuse and neglect. But I have also heard stories of people giving selflessly back to others. If all you do is focus on the negative in life, you will have a very sad life. Perhaps try to volunteer in your community. By doing so, you will feel good about those you help and see all the people who are also willing to help others. Peace be with you.

We are easily the best species on the planet, because we're the only ones that have any serious ability to be self-critical and improve ourselves. The animals will always be stuck as animals. Us, though? The sky is the limit, and even that isn't technically true. Humans can be incredibly beautiful. Yes, we're not at our best right now, but I think of it as the growing pains that come with finding our power. I'm optimistic that we'll figure it out.

We are no different from them in any way. The only reason they aren't manipulative and don't lie for personal gain is because their brains don't understand such concepts and don't understand how it would benefit them. They are just as cruel all they care about is food, survival, and mating.
