What does a guy mean by toying with him?

I had my friend ask my crush's roommate if my crush likes me and the roommates response was well he just broke up with a girl from back home. It might help if she would stop toying with him. What does he mean by that? its been the opposite he's been toying with me. I absolutely thought he liked me! He likes hanging out with me and everything!

ok so I went on a walk with him and we talked the entire time about life and pretty much everything. We got back to our apartments since he's my neighbor and he blushed and we both just stood there looking into each others eyes laughing...is that a good sign?

toying with someone is playing them basically...doing or saying one thing then completely doing the opposite..."toying with my emotions" -- saying you really like someone but not wanting to date them is a example of someone being "toyed" with

the walk was a good idea, him blushing and you two laughing is def a good sign...it was probably a weird moment and you both just burt out laughing...

theres obviously some sexual tension btwn you two...take things slow, see where it goes, remember he doesn't have to be the first to make a move! so if you feel like kissing him, DO IT!

be careful tho, he said he just got out of a relationship, so be easy and try to notice what his motives are...if he still talks to his ex or not and all that crap
