Both situations are abuse, both situations need help, yet only asking about husband yelling got an abuse hotline. Asking about a wife resulted in the husband essentially getting blamed.
Wtf man.

I think it's because less men suffer from being trapped by physical abuse from women, but manipulation and other leverage games.
My experience there is they do really really messed up stuff, and seem to want you to hit them, or more broadly lose control and break down in some way while they mock and push you.
They want control and drama, but rarely is that being achieved through physical abuse, rather it's fucking your life and livelihood up over and over again. Using threats of self-harm, false reports and what not to keep you from leaving.
It's something I went through. I only realized how bad it got when she cheated on me one time, and the only reason she was alive was because of a misfire. First one I had ever had too. That was a sign from god to get out regardless of what threats come true or not. She hurt herself, she hurt me and for years.
I got free though, and became confident. It's a lot harder to explain in few words what a guy goes through there, then a woman saying "he hit me" "I feel threatened". There's also a lot of captain save a hoes out there. I've never heard of a save a bro though.
Bro, it’s frustrating, but you're not wrong. There’s definitely a bias when it comes to seeking help for abuse as a man. Society’s been stuck in this mindset that abuse is something men do to women, but it can go both ways. It’s messed up that when a guy asks for help, the response is often downplayed or even flipped to blame him. 😤
The stigma is real—people think men should be “tough” or that they can’t be victims, which is total BS. Abuse is abuse, no matter the gender, and guys deserve the same level of support. The fact that searching for help leads to different results just shows how deep this bias runs. Everyone deserves to feel safe and heard, whether they’re male or female. It’s long overdue for that perspective to change.
We gotta push for more awareness that men face abuse too, and they shouldn’t feel ashamed or get blamed for trying to get help. It’s a real issue that needs way more attention! 💯
I was going to post an opinion,, but I can't do better than what @cupcakethedestroyer said. Thank You, Cupcake!
So I'll just comment that I had a cousin who was an LAPD detective and he was physically abused by his wife. He never physically retaliated, but he did divorce her. I was so shocked to hear about it from him. All kinds of men suffer physical abuse and it is as unequivocally wrong as any woman suffering abuse.
I was threatened with jail time when I reported it.. It sucks. If we had the same support as women did, men would come forward more often. Sadly the fault lies with society as a whole not with just men or just women.
You are absolutely right in this. It needs to change and, sadly, it's a long and difficult road to getting there. I think, probably, women are the ones who will need to step in and raise awareness about this issue.
No disagreement here
The google algorithm acts off of statistics when it comes to these pop ups. And statistically there are a much higher documentation of male abusers than female ones.
And yet literally every man I know has suffered abuse from a wife or a girlfriend at some point in their lives. We don't report because we get shamed. We don't report because of situations like mine, where when I broke up with a girl because of her abuse, she sliced my face up, leaving holes in parts of my cheeks, and when the police came I was threatened with arrest.. The Duluth model (a feminist policy that all police departments follow which automatically assumes the male is the aggressor) is responsible for this.
And I know you, I know you're going to disagree with me, you're going to say I'm lying. Or it's just not that bad. People like you assume men can't suffer abuse or rape.. But we do. And we get shit on for reporting it mostly by women.
I agree, more men should come forward so there can be more documentation
I guess I was wrong about you, I'm sorry.
Omg I know who you are lol

Not sure when u did this "experiment" but if u Google both sentences u don't get those results which leads me to belive the original meme is not as true as it would seem but even if we was to entertain the meme it would be because we as a society are still coming to terms with the idea of women being able to abuse men in relationships
society favors women over men in general
and feminists love to project their very own privilege onto the very same men they need help from
Mike Tyson said it best
social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it
men have historically done so much for women including sacrificing their own lives and livelihoods for the betterment of women, the only thing they mostly get in return is disrespect on such a scale that misandry is now seen as a myth in society
men don't ask for much, not even respect but they sure as hell don't ask for disrespect
of course there are simps and white knights who invite and encourage this disrespect which is why no one respects them
Power dynamics.
Can you get away safely? Are you going to die by someone else's hands on you?
Look at homelander the most powerful being alive miserable as fuck. Because he is not like superman who cares about other people. Figure that out and find some happiness.
Yeah, it's stupid to think that women are so weak they couldn't be abusers, and men are so strong they could never be abused. That's mysoginy for you: hurting everyone and helping no one, just because of "tradition" and refusing to treat everyone as equals with respect & humanity.
We are not equal no matter what people try to tell you
Being a man has advantages and weaknesses and so does being a woman
Unfortunately muscling through abuse is not handled the same way
Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t speak out or seek help if you are being abused and can’t handle it anymore
But don’t stop to wonder why other men aren’t doing the same
Because men are told to just shut up & stop being a whiny bitch, and female abuse is just accepted as just a normal part of romance in society, with no one holding them accountable for their abuse. Meanwhile men are called out for any and all abuse and held accountable socially and lawfully.
It brings up the domestic abuse hotline when I type in "why is my husband yelling at me" but yes, male victims of any sort are often swept under the rug.
When my ex sliced my face up, I was threatened with arrest.. When I had never laid a finger on her.
Yeah. I know someone who went through something similar. The only reason he even reported it to begin was because he was afraid she would hurt the kids.
If I was in an abusive relationship, I wouldn't trust reporting it, I would just leave.
Agreed
I just had my girlfriend test it out. She got the same results as you did, but mine are identical. Weird
Hell most men I know have suffered some form of abuse at the hands of an intimate partner. It's sad when you look at it.
Lesbian couples have 8 times the rates of dv as gay couples and 4 times the rate of dv as straight couples, it's almost as if women are the problem here not men.
Very weird.
@boggboss Dude, you get almost identical results, or do you not see the same thing here... Please do your self a favor and stop drinking the feminist lies
The below is a fresh screenshot TAKEN TODAY
Unfortunately people like him are essentially blind. Sad. But true. And then they say something is false simply because well of nothing. the mods should be better than that.
Lol its not even close to that simple u think I didn't do the search before making my comment clearly people don't get the same results which means it most likely had somthing to do with cookies and even past that I answered the question if it was to be believed 100% so how is that drinking feminist lies lol
When I asked the question I got the same results as him when I used private browsing. I also got the same result on my phone. And I tested this on a separate laptop, my wife's laptop., and the server in my basement all browsing in incognito and normally.. So no it's not cookies. But hey I'm alright with you being dishonest. It's okay.
Women are perceived to be more at risk. It's interesting because the data shows that women beat men way more often than the other way around lol
Women generally do a lot less damage though.
womp womp
being a guy has gotta be weird bc your issues are kinda semi self inflicted. not saying it's ONLY bc of it btww but i hope it improves
Nah, I get what you're trying to say, but c'mon, calling it "semi self-inflicted" is kinda unfair. It's not like guys are choosing to be stuck in these situations, dealing with bias or feeling like they can't ask for help. Society put those expectations on us. 🙄
It’s not about playing the victim, it’s about acknowledging that men face real issues too, and brushing them off just adds to the problem. Everyone's dealing with their own struggles, and dismissing one side doesn’t make things better for anyone. Let's just keep it real—there’s room for everyone to get the support they need.
Why?
That's a rabbit hole that I don't feel up to entering today.
The bias does absolutely exist, though.
because women are definding their victim status harder.
Because men shame each other for seeking it and for being abused.
And they say it is a man's world. lol
Another aspect of the f**ked-up USA !!!
sexism...
A woman cannot abuse a man, that is not possible.
You're either blind or obtuse..
