Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yLet’s see. Better economy overall. An end to the open borders. Freedom of speech. An end to indoctrinating kids into the rainbow community. Which no I have no problem w that community at all, I just don’t like trying to mold their brains to make them co fused about things at such an early age. What else? Ending big pharma’s mafia rule over price gouging when it comes to medications. Forcing people to take vaccines. An end to everything being men’s fault when things don’t go right. Women didn’t want men to have a say in abortion but when we voted for Trump now a lot of you are mad at us for not supporting you. Hmmmm, let’s see. Hoping to stop allowing men who identify as women go into women’s restrooms or play in women’s sports. Trying to force me to playing someone else’s game of what I’m supposed to call them. Making it illegal to give kids as young as 10 years old ozempic for obesity. Getting rid of a lot of chemicals in our foods that countries don’t even have in theirs. Find all these hundreds of thousands of kids who are missing under the Biden-Harris administration. Enforcing laws that require you to have an ID to vote. Not surprisingly Harris won all the states pretty much except for two I believe it was that didn’t require ID to vote. That’s why they brought in a lot of illegals, to try to give them an advantage. Hoping to avoid another war. A lot of things the left accuses Trump of doing is what they’re doing. People forget the Obama’s who endorsed Harris said marriage was between a man and woman. So did Hilary Clinton. Trump elected Susie Wiles as the Chief of Staff, first female in history to have that position. He was also the first president to hire an openly gay person into his cabinet the first time he was president. For some reason he’s racist because he wants to deport illegals but when Obama did it no one said a word. Which actually he deported the most illegals in his presidency than any other president. This is just a short list of what I hope happens. I also hope that they get rid of a lot of those idiots in politics.

I really felt that it was going to be not about his presidency but about everything that he's done wrong to people throughout his career in business but I guess I was wrong
And then I looked at it and said well the man has an opportunity to become the best non-politician president that we've ever had and he blew that
So I'm going to say the same thing this time around I would like to see him become the best president that we've ever had even though I don't like the guy at all but he has to do something right and if he can pull this off he will be in the history books for more than he is right now I don't think he can do it
I think his ego will take control he will try to manipulate our constitution he will try to manipulate everybody who's in politics by using the American people somehow because now he thinks he's the greatest thing since Ronald McDonald. I don't get how people say they feel relief he won. He is the most unstable person to run for president, and he has close runners-. up. But damn. The man has never done anything for working class, he allowed a pandemic to happen in the country he was supposed to protect and didn't even start his fav thing... a wall. Its small enough to be an exhibit not a barricade of any sort. He's displayed nothing but lies and his followers believe him purely because they still feel he will allow them to do anything they want. Yes. Regret will be seen on all of their faces when they see who he still really supports.30 Reply

@Still-alive we have democratic governor. I feel better. He isn’t up for election either for two years.

Yes i heard. so if you have any girl friends in any red states you might want to advise them to consider moving to a blue state if they have the means to do so. times might be tough for the next few years but we are ready to fight back!

1 yFelon? No. A local prosecutor in a state court brought federal charges on a single expired state misdemeanor that magically became multiple felonies. That case, and the other New York civil case with no legal, financial, or actual victims, are both in the process of being overturned by the New York State Appellate Court (all Democrats) because of both prosecutors' overreach.
I expect the economy to improve, I expect citizens of the United States and those who immigrated here legally to be prioritized over illegal immigrants, I expect the United States to become energy dominant, I expect the United States to begin selling better and less expensive energy to Europe and around the rest of the world (which will cripple the economies of the Diet Soviet Union and the Middle East, and force them to surrender their wars against Ukraine and Israel, respectively), I expect the value of the dollar to increase against international currency, I expect China to back off its threats against Taiwan and other countries in the West Pacific, and I expect no major wars.
Like with everything else in life, only time will tell.

1 y1. Stop the war in a manner that is fair to Ukraine and completely unfair and unjust to Russia.
2. Favor my country in the visa waiver program.
3. Stop collaborating with politicians from my country and stop finding my politicians in important international positions like Mirgea Geoana, NATO Deputy Secretary General. (He is a former communist whose father was part of the old communist system before 1989 that had direct relations with the KGB and is accused of crimes against humanity during the 1989 revolution in Romania and his son Geoana was promoted through this branch in politics, occupying positions for which he was not qualified. He tried to win the presidency of the country in 2009 but was made a laughingstock to the world when against his candidate and former president Basescu he exposed live during the debate a video of himself meeting with one of the most corrupt and criminally investigated people).
4. Not to leave the NATO alliance
5. Not to carry out massive deportations
6. Not to stop the flow of immigrants but to improve it through methods that favor the transparency of these immigrants (who they are, what they have done in their history and to be permanently monitored in US society until they prove to be bona fide working people)
7. Not to ban abortion (otherwise it becomes a bigger criminal than during the covid period)
8. Not to tax European products otherwise NATO and the EU will suffer in this way.
9. To tax the shit out of the Chinese too
10. To provide unconditional aid to Taiwan, Ukraine and Israel10 Reply - 808 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yHoping that there's enough checks and balance in place to prevent him from destroying our democracy. I hope I'm wrong and I want him to succeed even though I think he's an absolute disaster. Remember this is what Trump is inheriting despite right wing media telling you everything is so bad. Biden did a great job considering what he dealt with from the right.
527 Reply- 1 y
Biden hasn't done any of those things. Food and housing is ridiculously expensive, the unemployment numbers don't count those who have given up looking for employment because the job market sucks, the southern border has been open for the entirety of Biden’s administration, illegal immigrants are being prioritized over citizens and legal immigrants, and war is raging in Ukraine and the Middle East.
That's the true legacy of Joe "Basement" Biden. - 1 y
I love when people make shit up
- 1 y
Unemployment will be measured the same way for Trump. Let's see how the numbers, based on the same reporting for all presidents do. We're about to find out what tarrifs are and who they're effect really soon.
- 1 y
I mean... Those that know what tarrifs are won't be shocked about who they effect 😂
- 1 y
Going back to mass producing and selling our own energy to Europe and around the world that is a far better quality and less expensive than anything being sold by the Diet Soviet Union and the Middle East will create jobs, lower the cost of domestic energy, improve our economy, eliminate inflation, raise the value of our dollar against international currency, and force the Diet Soviet Union and the Middle East to stop their financially expensive wars against Ukraine and Israel, respectively, because they'll all be generating far less money for their economies and war efforts. That will more than offset tariffs against communist China.
- 1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 wym going back to? The USA is currently producing energy at a record pace...
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy Where, and for whom? If that was the case here, domestic energy wouldn't be so expensive right now. The United States is buying energy from the Middle East, and Europe is buying energy from the Diet Soviet Union. Immediately after the election, the European Union announced their plans to change that policy:
www.reuters.com/.../
This is a good thing for the United States, the European Union, and Ukraine. - 1 y
@Smashingdoozy Any energy tether that the European Union continues to have with the Diet Soviet Union, no matter how seemingly insignificant that chart shows, is bad for the European Union and Ukraine, and good for Putin. The European Commission President didn't make her announcement on November 8th for no reason. She knows we're going to be producing more energy that's a far better quality and less expensive for Europe than anything Putin is currently selling them. Undercutting the Diet Soviet Union is good for everyone.
- 1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 still you implied we weren't producing much energy and not selling it to the EU which is incorrect
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy No where near the levels we're capable of and should be producing. For ourselves, Europe, and the rest of the world. That's now finally going to change.
- 1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 and you're cool with the price increases due to that?
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy Our energy prices will decrease. More domestic energy production means lower domestic prices and more domestic energy for us to sell around the world. That will financially undermine the Diet Soviet Union and the Middle East.
- 1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 only if the switch is made to clean renewable energy... Oil drilling is expensive and the US doesn't have the means to process crude oil to be useable on a large scale.
- 1 y
Our oil is sold to the global market. We are drilling more than the trump administration. Our oil production plays a part in the price of oil not solely alone. This is a global supply and demand not domestic only. We also can't refine the type of crude oil we produce and our oil companies have zero obligation to the American people because it isn't a government controlled commodity. They sell to the highest bidder. They have a fudiciary responsibility to their stockholders to make as much money as possible. If global supplies increase higher than demand then prices go down.
- 1 y
It is cheaper to buy foreign oil than to refine our own since we don't have the infrastructure to do so. That means our oil companies would have to spend billions to be have the infrastructure here and they won't invest in America
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy @Friendlybro79 We certainly have the ability to refine crude oil, and if more infrastructure is needed, then that creates more jobs. We'd also be refining more of Canada's oil and helping them sell it around the world. It's mutually beneficial economically for both countries and financially undermines the Diet Soviet Union and the Middle East. The less financial entanglements we have with the Middle East when it comes to buying energy, and the weaker the Diet Soviet Union is, the better it is for everyone.
- 1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 creates more jobs but that creates more cost... I. e. making it more expensive...
- 1 y
Please explain what was made up according to you I can hardly wait for how you explain Bidens destroying our borders, and oil production causing us to become dependent on foreign oil, and prices up across the board. But let me venture a guess what your answer will be, and it is Trump who caused it! NOT
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy Buying energy from overseas and importing it here is far more expensive than generating our own energy for our own use and selling the excess for a profit around the world. Plus when we're energy dominant it financially undermines the Diet Soviet Union and the Middle East.
- 1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 inflation was up due to the pandemic and no prices haven't deflated to before covid because companies can charge more. What plan does Trump have to make companies lower their profit?
Also Inflation is back to and much lower than previous years. Inflation being down doesn't mean prices deflated. It means they are inflating much lower rates and 3% is good.
Also he did achieve these things and just because your orange god and slick fox news won't admit it doesn't mean you get to say he didn't. I'm tired of debating real statistics that all presidents including trump are measured on. - 1 y
Excuse me gdp was 3% inflation 2.1. This is happening under the Biden administration you fools.
- 1 y
@Friendlybro79 The cost of everything has been, and still is, sky high. That's what's really happening under the Biden administration.
- 1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Biden had very little to do with inflation. It's a global issue.
- 1 y
@Smashingdoozy It started here. Whether the rest of the planet likes it or not, as the United States goes, so goes (just about all of) the rest of the world. The only countries that benefit from a weak United States saddled with inflation on the global stage are communist China, the OPEC nations in the Middle East, and the Diet Soviet Union.
- 1 y
#1 We are not a democracy we are a Republic. # 2 How much more is your paycheck buying today than almost 4 years ago food fuel rent insurance and everything else you need please tell me how much more you are buying I know you can't buy a house now and the government is telling you can only electric cars in the future without the generating capacity to charge them CA. has rolling blackouts now with no power plant to be built to cover the growth in the use of electricity. Biden and THE DEMOCRATIC COMMUNIST PARTY OF AMERICA have damaged this country by trying to make us part of China as an outer borough despite the rock hard economy left to Biden by Trump. Within the first hour of taking office, Biden put over one hundred thousand people out of work in the oil companies by mandating them to close oil fields., canceling drilling right all over the country. This is all on Biden and Harris and company. Trump did not cause this it is all on Biden.

1 yBetter prices, hopefully he prevents a few wars, I also hope he gets rid of the Maduro problem already so my family in Venezuela can live better, he fixes the illegal immigration problem, his collaboration with Elon musk really gives me hope that these 4 years might show a lot of improvement in our country and no offense to the people in these movements that have good hearts and proper intentions but I think the US has pushed all these movements far too much that it's just caused lots of separation among our civilians, I think if someone breathes and has a soul then they deserve respect and freedom like anyone unless they do things to contradict that such as disrespect or commiting crimes but for a country that has the word unity in it we surely spend a lot of time separating ourselves among each other.
37 Reply- 1 y
I'm curious why you think prices will get better?
- 1 y
Cause I think it was one of the promises that were given to us if trump won the election, if I'm not mistaken if trump can prevent and stop some wars then I believe that will help inflation as well, same with our gas prices, actually this Venezuela thing might bring us more oil so I can already smell good prices on my car juice, how are you feeling about trump in office?
I'm genuinely curious, as you don't seem too bothered by it - 1 y
I'm quite bothered by it. Prices are infact going to go up eventually not down. Especially with the tarrifs and Trump's tax plan which is still valid till next year which will probably just get extended.
- 1 y
I guess we shall see, I have hope in my soul 😇
Here comes the mysterious tatted hottie about to stomp on my hopes and dreams of living comfortably with her half emo and half goth boot 😂
Nah foreal tho, I'm sure trump is aware that people are struggling financially cause of prices, it would be pretty harmful to the whole country to just leave it the way it is or let it get worse, he must have a plan, elon has been investing in these small homes for a while now that are very affordable and would be a game changer for human civilization, my theory is that it's possible that Elon and Trump might try changing the real estate business by making everything more affordable, imagine living in a decent sized house that can be mounted in an hour and costs around 10k to 15k, i actually believe there's potential now that elon has involved himself with the goverment, if the word progress was a man it would be Elon, the man made a self landing rocket that put itself back on the chopsticks. - 1 y
You heard on the new assassination attempt on trump, hitmen from Iran and Ukraine 🤷🏽
- 1 y
No, and if there is another, it'll probably be from Vance. You hope 23 Nobel Economics prize winners are wrong and you are right. That the CBO is wrong and you are right.
Prices in general almost never go down. Getting rid of inflation simply means they don't go up, reducing inflation like Biden did, means they don't go up as fast. - 1 y
I guess we will have to see what happens

1 ycall it "whataboutism" but if bidens sons laptop had not vanished while it was in the hands of the fbi, he would have been a convicted felon as well. and thanks to the intelligence agencies being on his side, he could continue shoveling American tax payer money in his very own family pocket in the ukraine. yeah sure part of it went to fund zelenskies private spendings and some of it acutlly ended up in the defense war but it is what it is. most candidates will not have a white west when it comes to this. so we should rather look on the surface at what they're doing for the country in their function of the president and treat their personal shit separately from that. i mean not saying let him get away with it but if he does great as a president (which he did before), just punish him after his term or during it if that doesn't interfere with his presidency.
321 Reply- 1 y
also he's not (maybe not yet) a convicted felon. the verdict isn't final.
- 1 y
He is convicted. He's just not been sentenced.
- 1 y
well we'll see what happens when it comes to the appeals. cause a conviction can be overturned still.
- 1 y
@Dongie no it hasn't. A judge will rule tomorrow on if the convictions will stand.
- 1 y
And even if he stays convicted, then people still wanted him over kamala. I'd say that's more telling about Kamala, that people would rather go with a convicted felon than with her
- 1 y
Really not telling at all. Most people who vote for him are highly uneducated. Trump thrives on that.
- 1 y
I'm sorry you fell for the democrats talking point that was specifically made to cater to uneducated morons. It's the same level of stupid platitudes as "illegal immigrants are taking our jobs". Yes the voters of trump have a higher proportion of people with less formal education but making the conclusion that therefore Trump is voted by dumb people is just brainless
- 1 y
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a trump supporter. I am more for rfk or sanders. But when it's between Kamala and trump, it's Trump all the time every time. And by the way. It's not just me. It's the entire Democrat electorate too. Kamala wasn't what you call a "favourite". Not eben among the democrats
- 1 y
Sir... This is what Trump has said himself.
- 1 y
What did Trump say himself?
- 1 y
That he polls well with the uneducated.
- 1 y
So you're saying trump is a criminal and a liar and he can't be trusted but when he says his voter are uneducated, you believe that? That's what we call a "bias".
And it may be true that the voter base slightly sees to the less educated. Meaning working klass people are voting for him. Working klass people are very important to a country and there's nothing to scoff at about that. - 1 y
Skews to the less educated**
- 1 y
@Dongie yeah because most college graduates have spend significant time with ideology driven teachers who themself were never a part of the economy and never learned what it means to actually have to provide a product someone is willing to give their money for.
- 1 y
@Dongie i mean my personal experience is slightly different. i've went back to school to get my degree after spending a few years on a manual labour job. so i was like 25 in my university class when everyone else was like 17. i'll just give you one example that tells the entire story. so i studies social science and there was one of these sort of infamous "gender studies" classes and i decided to go take a look to see for myself. the professor was a woman and also she was the person accountable for gender equality at my uni. she actually gave people a very based outlook. she actually told people the truth about feminism and how it was neither a movement lead by women nor a movement that benefited women in the grand scheme of things. she talked at length about how this destroyed the family unit and made overall prosperity go down, tax go up and birth rates go down.
and even after all that, there were still girls there all about "smash the patriarchy". the problem in my case wasn't the quality of education. it was that people actually came to university with their prebuilt notions and never corrected them even when they were wrong. - 1 y
Thing is you can fact check what he says 🤯 crazy.
- 1 y
Well then maybe you should fact check the things you don't like to be true as well. But it's funny how you just ignored the fact where I pointed out that it is bad to ignore a population majority that is slightly less educated. So I'll say it again working class is the backbone of society. You can't ignore their needs. That's what Kamala got to feel when she lost the election.
And if you think it's bad that less educated people vote, you're an aristocrat. Not a Democrat.
3.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. He won't do much like last time.
Congress has the power to overturn an executive order by passing legislation that invalidates it, and can also refuse to provide funding necessary to carry out certain policy measures contained with the order or legitimize policy mechanisms.
This means any idea that trump will start dictating orders is unfounded. And while Congress may hold a minor majority it does not mean they all agree with trumps orders. Most of his ideas will be rejected like last time.134 Reply- 1 y
@goaded If you think anyone in congress is scared of trump, then ya be delusional as trump who thinks Russia fear him. Congress who had to deal with nixon and nixon was more competent, and if not more equally as corrupt as trump. And well look what happened to him.
The basic of a how a president works is they make tons of executive orders and most get rejected or/and don't get the funding they need.
You'll hear about in the first week trump will sign many, yet many won't happen, and trump will focus on a few ideas to try make them work than everything he put into action.
A president than runs for a limited term has nothing on the system that's run the country for decades. US made it purposefully ironed walled so a president can't just dictate whatever he wants. - 1 y
I didn't say they were scared of Trump, they were scared of his supporters. Not unreasonably, after the attack on them on Jan 6.
Congress dealt with Nixon by upholding the constitution and being willing to convict their own president (iirc, he was told he could only rely on about five or six votes in the Senate, not including the Senate leader who was telling him). There's no way he was more corrupt than Trump who used the presidency to enrich himself and his family, used threats against a foreign country to gain political advantage and failed to peacefully transfer power for the first time in US history. - 1 y
@goaded Now you getting even more so.
You think they are scared of civilians? That's funny. Very unreasonably if you think Jan 6 was what could scare them. Jan 6 was by far one of least impactful events of all history, and has nothing on the riots in 2020, and has nothing on 9/11 which should be needless to say.
Congress has dealt with way more, and national security deals with more than we even see.
No way are they threatened by some trump supporters lol.
The government hasn't run America for 200 years now just to have some orange businessmen dictate law as he wills.
And yeah Nixon was just look up watergate what do you think that was just a peaceful non-corrupt act? And not done so he could rig the election? - 1 y
Of course "they are scared of civilians" - that's why prominent people have security details and bullet resistant glass. Senators don't get that kind of thing and aren't paid enough to afford them for themselves or families.
The first time in US history there wasn't a peaceful transition of power was "one of least impactful events of all history"? Bullshit. 9/11 and BLM couldn't have taken the people's choice away from them, Jan 6 and all the lies and crimes around it could have. - 1 y
@goaded Okay so you are delusional at this point. Tell me how many more people died in 9/11 compared to Jan 6 and we'll see how that works out in your head as not taking people's choices away from them when it took a mass amount of lives.
And how it later on impacted the future war in the east which also took away vast lives.
You talk about taking away choices, how about the choice to live?
Are you really this ignorant to think some idiots marching into a building and doing nothing other than been idiots is worse than planes crashing into them purposefully to kill.
Also 9/11 for sure took away people's choices even if you somehow disregard literal death, it incited more safety laws and surveillance laws which made civilians no longer allowed to take things in secure area's or on planes, and breached on freedoms you once had.
What world do you live in lmao.
And no security is called common sense not fear. Can it be from fear? Sure but it's self is not a indication of fear, it's an indication of common sense. And by the way they have that security for a random loon or terrorist which is not the same as your everyday civilian.
Could it been used to protect from everyday folk of course, but everyday folk aren't the ones who do the really bad stuff in a controlled democratic society.
- 1 y
Also you against the riots couldn't take away choices yeah tell that to marshal law, I am sure no one's rights and choices are taken away if that get's declared over dozen of people rioting.
Which is way worse on a large scale in multiple cities and states compared to singular event contained with a small amount of people. - 1 y
To hell with your insults, I'm informed, you're misleading.
"“One Republican congressman confided to Romney that he wanted to vote for Trump’s second impeachment, but chose not to out of fear for his family’s safety,” Coppins writes. “The congressman reasoned that Trump would be impeached by House Democrats with or without him — why put his wife and children at risk if it wouldn’t change the outcome?
“Later, during the Senate trial, Romney heard the same calculation while talking with a small group of Republican colleagues. When one senator, a member of leadership, said he was leaning toward voting to convict, the others urged him to reconsider. You can’t do that, Romney recalled someone saying. Think of your personal safety, said another. Think of your children. The senator eventually decided they were right.”"
www.washingtonpost.com/.../
How would 9/11 have ended American democracy, exactly? How about BLM?
Imposing a president against the will of the people would have, for sure. - 1 y
@goaded The only insult here if your lack of care for the impact 9/11 made and not understanding it. I've said what I needed to say, your delusional if you think that's what happened Jan 6. And if you think killing people on purpose with a plane is worse than a couple of idiots walking into a building.
Jan 6 did not and would never of effected the election. But you keep dreaming about this fantasy world where Biden didn't run for 4 years after that with no problems. And in world where you think a couple people could overturn a government like US just by walking into a building lol, cause their society is that fragile yeah sure.
At the end of the day 9/11 took away many people's choices as there lives were literally ended, while Jan 6 was nothing compared. Ask anyone which was worse and your answer would be 9/11 from any sane person.
And no 9/11 didn't end US democracy and never would that's my exact point. If that couldn't then simply walking into a building couldn't either. But you know which had more impact and did change people's lives more? 9/11. - 1 y
Can you read? "How would 9/11 have ended American democracy, exactly? How about BLM?" How about imposing a president against the will of the people?
The Civil War, two world wars, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, pandemics, and many other things killed huge numbers of Americans, but didn't result in a president trying to stay in power after losing an election. Only Trump did that. If he'd succeeded, there wouldn't have been any more American democracy, just a farce like Russia. - 1 y
@goaded Can you? How many times do I need to say a bunch of idiots walking into a building won't do anything.
Do you think that's how dictators work? Like anybody just gets a small group to walk into a government building and the government just go ah alright then guess you guys are the power now, we out and have luck running the country. We wish you the best.
Honestly made me laugh. Don't bother repeating your point because it's not me who can't read and understand that I explained several times this is nothing and won't work. - 1 y
You can say it as often as you like, but we both know that the physical attack was the final desperate action at the end of a long line of illegal and unlawful schemes to steal the presidency, starting with lies and faithless lawsuits, through forgery and demands that officials ignore their duty and essentially proclaim Trump president based on lies.
- 1 y
@goaded And yet it went nowhere and never was going to. Unlike ya know more important events that killed many or caused way more overall damage, and effected society more.
But with that I abide this argument to enclose as I can only say the same thing so many times, and you made no point that proves how it effected society more than such previous events because there is none. - 1 y
If it never was going to go anywhere, why did they do it? Why did they forge fake slates of electors? Why did Republicans in congress (140+, iirc) vote not to accept the results of elections certified by their (often Republican) states? Why did they bring frivolous lawsuits, challenging the election without any evidence of wrong-doing?
It was all to keep Trump in power.
Now, because the cowards in the Senate didn't convict him, and the idiots in the DoJ sat on their hands for years, and Trump's personal judge and corrupt SCOTUS refused to recuse themselves and helped him delay his trials for years, Trump's about to be back in power and breaking laws already, in anticipation of breaking more. - 1 y
@goaded Yeah yeah come back to me when Biden somehow didn't run for 4 years because in your delusional mind you thought trump was still in power?
Since that's not a reality I live in, your point means nothing to me. The only reason Trump is been reelected now is cause people voted for him, not some conspiracy that he managed to take power years ago and has total fear control over the government that could send him to a blacksite forever if they wanted to. - 1 y
You're simply lying about what I said. What a surprise.
No answer to any of those points about how Trump ended the tradition of the peaceful transition of power and tried, with the aid of Republicans in Congress and multiple co-conspiritors, to steal the presidency.
He's been re-elected (notice nobody's talking about stolen elections this time, at least not since it became clear he could win, funny how that works) because he wasn't convicted when he was impeached, he wasn't tried and convicted in courts of law in a timely manner, and because people like you have been spreading lies here and on Twitter that was bought for that precise purpose.
Not forgetting that he was actually convicted of 34 felonies to do with the 2020 election. Something that almost never comes up on Fox or OANN, I bet. - 1 y
@goaded Do you even know what those convictions were for? It was for hush money to a porn star it literally had nothing to do with the election lol.
You really are cooked. But hey we keep going around in circles think whatever you want. But simply you are delusional if you think the government is afraid of Trump or the people. The American government like always has them under control but you can keep thinking they don't that's actually what they want tbf. - 1 y
If Trump had declared the hush money payment as a campaign expense rather than illegally covering them up, he wouldn't have been convicted. He paid her to keep her for speaking out during his campaign - it was election funding.
While you're pretending not to believe the obvious, Trump is breaking laws and planning how to turn the military into an organisation loyal to him over the constitution. Guess who else did that? - 1 y
@goaded if she had come out it would of hurt his reputation but it did not directly have any rigging in the votes.
But anyway cya in 4 years when unsurprisingly Trump won't be in power no more and there will be a vote just like there is every 4 years for a Democrat or Republican.
Time will prove me right so I have nothing more to say to ya.
- 1 y
That's not the test, and it's irrelevant anyway. Trump paid her to keep quiet in order not to hurt his chances. That would have been perfectly legal, but he chose to falsify records to pretend they were for something other than his campaign. That's illegal. A felony. For which he's been found guilty.
Trump broke the law when he wore a MAGA hat to vote. Trump's breaking the law by not signing transition documents required by law. He's not even in office yet. - 1 y
@goaded I never said he wasn't a felon so now I don't even know why your arguing that. And no that's not irrelevant at all. If your claim is trump is a dictator and people fear him or his voters, and he can do whatever he wants.
Then proof of him needing to step down in 4 years and a normal election happens disprove your entire point. Because if they are just doing whatever he wants then he never needs to step down duh. - 1 y
"If your claim is trump is a dictator and people fear him or his voters, and he can do whatever he wants"? Well, it's not. That's just another of your little misrepresentations (lies).
It's a fact that people, senators, did fear violent nutcases in his supporters (remember, this was days after they had to flee in panic when the Capitol was attacked, so it was first-hand knowlege) and chose not to convict.
Governor Walz had to beg Trump to call off his supporters when they surrounded his home. Guess what? When Trump told them to go home, they went home, when Trump told people to go to the Capitol, they went to the Capitol.
Who knows what will happen in four years in a country where Fox News hosts get handed important government positions? People are being chosen for their loyalty to Trump, not for competence. Trump wants a military leadership loyal to him and not the constitution (people like Flynn), just like Stalin and Hitler before him.
God help us, it's up to Republican senators to maintain their oaths. (There's a slight sliver of light there, when they didn't choose a leader who would openly abdicate the power of the Senate to Trump today.) - 1 y
@goaded and again I reply to you cya in 4 years when I am proven right. Hell it will be sooner than that. Watch when trump tries to make a policy yet it don't get funded or agreed on it will happen very soon in.
Just ya wait.
You say I lie but time will only prove me right, and you only call me a liar cause you have no clue what your even arguing about anymore.
You say it's me lying about saying, you saying he's a dictator with iron rule but then keep comparing him to stalin or Hitler which is it? Do you think trumps a dictator or not?
Simple question.
And if you do I already explained why you are delusional for thinking that and if you don't then you have no point here. - 1 y
You do lie, it's obvious from this conversation. You've said "Jan 6 was by far one of least impactful events of all history", "you (I) thought trump was still in power", and "your (my) claim is trump is a dictator". None of those things are true.
Hitler didn't pass laws banning all other political parties and elections until he was given that power by complicit seditionists and scared idiots in the government. (That just took a couple of months after he was allowed to bypass the parliament, by the way; Trump wanted a senate leader who would allow him to appoint people without oversight.)
Both Stalin and Hitler purged their militaries of people who were considered insufficiently loyal to them. Stalin more than Hitler, but several of Hitler's generals tried to kill him. Search for "Warrior Board" to see how Trump intends to do the same. - 1 y
@goaded And yet you just compared him to Hitler and stalin again, while saying I am lying about you claiming he's a dictator.
So you are ethier a hypocrite and gaslighting me to death here or you for whatever bizzare reason think Hitler and stalin aren't dictators.
Because you are saying trump is intending to do the same thing.
Honestly, I give up. You can't even answer the simple question.
Do you think Trump is a dictator yes or no? - 1 y
Try to understand: Hitler was not a dictator until he was able to sieze total power. All your arguments boil down to Trump hasn't siezed total power yet, so he's not a dictator.
My point is clearly that Trump is getting dangerously close to that tipping point. Are you saying Trump wouldn't be a dictator like Putin, if he could be? If he doesn't manage it, are you sure Vance wouldn't?
Trump's appointing news personalities to run the military, someone who maimed Twitter to do the same to the government, and racist assholes to run immigration who want to de-naturalise legal immigrants. - 1 y
@goaded Exactly my point. Trump hasn't seized total power nor can, nor never will. And time will prove me right on that, he couldn't do it last time, can't do it now.
America has way to much unseen power, that will stop him if it comes to that.
But hey if I am wrong, I'll say my bad guess he did become one. Like I said cya in 4 years when he steps down and hasn't done half the things he claimed he would be able to do because surprise he had no real power in the first place.
He's another mascot president.
Honestly it's absurd to me how every election, there is folk who think it's the end of the world and how this president is going to destroy America yet never does.
It's funny how America comes out mostly the same every time right?
Time will show.
- 1 y
You think "Trump hasn't seized total power nor can, nor never will", while I admit he hasn't, but can. The difference is that, if you're wrong, you'll be living like a Russian, if I'm wrong, you'll be living like an American.
You're admitting that he has tried in the past "he couldn't do it last time, can't do it now", with a lot less preparation (he didn't think he'd win in 2016), but that he still won't be able to because of blind faith that he didn't learn from his mistakes.
Hey, what does it matter if you're wrong? You're not in a group he'd target, right? - 1 y
@goaded I don't really have to worry not American so unless he plans to war with Uk for whatever reason I think I'm gud either way.
But thy have lack of understanding that America has ways to stop a president, if you think the only protection is out in the open... then you need to think more.
Tell me if you have a security measure for a president becoming a dictator would you tell a president how it works?
The answer is no obviously. Trump has no real clue how to take over don't worry about it, like I said he won't even be able to do half the stuff he claims nvm become a dictator.
You'll see. - 1 y
Half the stuff he claims is bad enough. It's not like he's the one coming up with the detailed plans, that's the Heritage Foundation. What do you think he'll do with a military led by loyalists? It will be what he wanted to do last time but was prevented from doing. Do you trust him to leave peacefully at the end of four years?
How about choosing a law breaker for Attorney General? That couldn't be to protect himself and use the DoJ as a weapon against people he doesn't like, right?
Did you read that Trump just selected Gaetz to be the US attorney general? ↗
As to the UK:
- 1 y
@goaded Are you still going on? How many times do I have to say this time will prove me right. Guess who's going to be surprised when a normal election happens in the next 4 years. And when trump don't do half the shit he said he will do.
You. Because for whatever reason you believe trump has power that he factually don't have.
This is the last time I'm going to say it. Time will prove me right.
- 1 y
I'll keep going as long as you do.
So you trust Trump to leave peacefully next time, not to use the US military against US citizens and not to use the DoJ to attack his political enemies, both things he wanted to last time. Is that fair?
I don't think we're going to have to wait four years to see you are wrong.
1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. A logical explanation of how a judge and prosecutor who are both major Biden donors didn't have the integrity to refuse themselves before opening arguments, how they were able to get away with election interference by forcing the one viable candidate nominated by the Republicans to be in court while Biden was on the campaign trail
Most importantly, how they only managed to butt-fuck themselves by initially having Joe debate from his coma and then the least popular candidate in Democrat party history got shoe-horned in without her even entering a single Primary.
The fuckwits actually got RFK Jr to become a fucking REPUBLICAN because that party now looks more like the party JFK and his Father were members of.

I hope he doesn’t destroy NATO and doesn’t appease Putin. I hope he doesn’t put in the tariffs wall he was talking about. I hope he doesn’t make the same mistakes as last time, China got way to powerful thanks to Trump not understanding geopolitics and the UN.
He is leaning hard towards authoritarianism and maybe even facism. I hope he doesn’t destroy democracy in the US. Would be a big issue for upcoming democracies in the world and the geopolitical position of the west vs China and Russia.

2. Perhaps even getting border legislation passed that keeps it that way so it doesn't get undone by the next retard to take office.
3. Reducing regulation to allow for MUCH more development of US energy reserves to aggressively drive down the price of oil. This will help with prices in general and will weaken many of America's enemies (Iran, Russia).
4. Extend the 2017 tax cuts that were set to expire in 2025
5. Reduce the size of the permanent state (Elon Musk taking a hacksaw to the federal government)
6. Attempt to wind down conflicts in Ukraine and Israel or at the very least ramp down US involvement in both

The no tax on TIPS I think is his dumbest idea if he does it. It's great in theory but American culture is already wild w tips and with all tax breaks, IE. kamala's 25k for a house, the money has to come from somewhere... So I highly disagree with DJT on that
Financially both parties have pulled the greatest trick ever convincing Americans that one party cares about the rich more. 20 plus years in investing under Democrats and Republicans and I'm always rich. I'll also say traveling all over the world whether it was Kackles or mean tweets the USA has it better than 90 percent of the planet. But to answer your question, I'm expecting ANTIFA and BLM to resurface. I'm expecting inflation to go down, more jobs and I'm expecting a crack down on drugs and illegal immigration, and I'm also expecting the wars in Ukraine and Israel to finally end.

Mmm no. This was to pay off a porn star 🙃

You ever look at some of the stuff the Clinton's were involved in. Bill Clinton was convicted of perjury after lying in a sexual harassment triak and his law licence taken away. There was travelgate, Filegate, whitewatergate, The Hollywood Gala Salute to President William Jefferson Clinton, The Barrett Report, Hillary Clinton cattle futures controversy. The Paula Jones sexual harassment case in which Bill paid $700,000 to settle the case. As well as all the other women Bill Clinton is accused of sexual harassment and rape. As well as Pardongate. That was all before 2001.
- 1 y
@Dongie pardongate was where Bill Clinton pardoned a number of shady people on his last day as president including some friends convicted in crimes both he and hillary were implicated in though escaped conviction.
- 1 y
Yeah, that really hurt his image with those hypocrite liberals. Hillary went on to serve as senator from New York and ran for president twice. Was a shoe-in against the man. Now listen to the 🐓🍭's talk about Trump.
I'd rather have an innocent Trump that's been indicted by a soon to be unfreeze group of crooked DA's and judges than have a corrupt, lying, rapist that got a pass on being tried for true legalities because of the same corruption filled biased that persecuted an innocent political rival. SMMFH
