Is it easy to corrupt you?

What I want to know is: how easy is it to make you do something you don't want to do? Can people easily manipulate you or convince you to do something especially if it's something you don't really want to do?

I have values and beliefs that cannot be taken away, I don’t believe I can be easily corrupted.

I have everyone around me saying why they believe I’m not fully correct and I’m happy to hear their point of view. By not surrounding yourself with “yes men”, not being easily influenced by money, and by viewing things from a deeper level than a surface level & willing to hear new ideas and open to them, no huge ego that needs to be fed constantly, etc. prevents me from falling for corruption.

There is something that I stand by forever, even with all these guardrails… “Absolute power, corrupts absolutely”. I believe that, so I acknowledge not everything can go by way all the time. Checks and balances are a good thing to keep the government from gaining too much power. Everyone must be a beacon of transparency, honesty, and merit because once trust is destroyed.. It can’t easily be repaired and people won’t forget it.

I believe I’m 90% able to not be corrupted, though each & everyday I can make it 1% more to 9% more since I’m not perfect.

Nope. I spent 15 years subject to polygraph on demand to verify that fact. I don't particularly value wealth. I don't step outside the boundaries of polite society without a good reason. So no addictions like gambling, sex, legal or illegal drugs, or alcohol. Any addiction or dependency is something my personality naturally rebels against. I have no criminal history. There are no skeletons in my closet. So there's a problem finding any of the common levers to compromise me or corrupt me.

And then there's the fact that I'm an introvert. I don't need people to like me. In fact I'd rather not interact with 95% of the population. Most people couldn't get close enough to me to compromise me. If they did, it would take a very long time, like years.

Very hard. I avoided alcohol and casual sex even when I was depressed, bullied and surrounded by people who did that regularly. I can live alone whenever I realise they’re rotten apples. To make me do something that is against my beliefs requires committing a crime by the loser who couldn’t convince me. I hope to find a circle where people respect boundaries.

Corrupting means convincing or deceive others they do something in their interest but it's not true.
Anakin didn't want slaughter the younglings beforehand but he did and enjoyed it because Emperor convinced him doing evil will grant him more force. This is was true corruption

The easiest people to corrupt are people who are greedy, narcissistic, prideful, and lustful. They are the easiest people to manipulate….. If you convince them to do something because it will look good for them and make them feel as if it’s their idea they will do it.

If someone’s lustful they are easily manipulated by someone generally of the opposite sex unless they’re a homosexual. They tend to fall for people as well who tell them what they want to hear this goes equally for men and women as well for homosexuals and heterosexuals.

Someone that’s hard to manipulate doesn’t generally care what people think of them more dark personalities who don’t care do care only to obtain a certain objective. Narcissistic people care deeply of the opinions of others and other types of people. People who are grounded in principal and aren’t easily carried away by beauty or handsomeness and aren’t easily flattered they care more about results then they do what someone says.

Dark people who also understand this use this for evil. Pride, lust, envoy, greed, etc are what motivates evil people. That’s why evil people spend more time manipulating one another than they do everyone else…… not that they see good people as any better but that’s their attack. They just want to corrupt and bring everyone down with the in the end.

Evil is EXTREMELY easy to manipulate if you know what you’re doing.

This is actually why some people despise me in real life, because they can't control or manipulate me. No one tells me how to think or can get me to do what they want, I have my own mind, and that's what they don't like.

Practically impossible.
