What age do you have to be to be considered old?

Many of generation z and Gen alpha says anyone born 1990 or before. Some are saying before or at 2000.

When I was their age, I probably would have said born in the 1960s but now I would say anyone born before 1949 because my grandmother was born in 1949 and still healthy and vibrant.

I don't feel old. But I guess to teens and some young adults I would be old.

But I feel like these guys said, you're not really old until you start feeling old.

When you start looking old and showing signs of age.

But it depends on who is judging.
When I was in my teens and dating high school girls, I thought anyone over 30 was old.

One time, a friend's dad was showing his Pantera at the Concourse d'elegance car show in Laguna Beach, CA. I was excited that Playboy bunnies were going to be there. When I saw them, I was surprised. They were much more filled out than I had expected. They were only in their early 20s but seemed more womanly than my fantasies at the time. LOL
But once I was their age, I realized that they were ideal.

There are some women in their later 20s who can pass for 18. There are some women in 30s and even 40s who can pass for 25.

Also, according to studies, women are at their sexual peak after about age 27.

The most wonderful girlfriend I ever had was 30 when we met. She no longer had the body of a teen, but more like one of those Playboy bunnies I mentioned. Her face, body and skin were flawless. She glowed. Plus, she was hypersexual, ultra orgasmic, and very, very adept.

The thing about women is, taut skin over fat is what gives them their shape. Eventually, their skin begins to lose its elasticity and start sagging. Eventually, their age begins to show. They develop laugh lines, crow's feet, cellulite, things happen to their necks, and their boobs aren't as taut and perky. But they can delay that by being fit and taking care of themselves. And genetics plays a large part.
But guys don't have that problem. As long as they stay fit and lean, they can look young until their hair starts falling out or turning gray.

Either way men and women can remain sexy for decades and age is a matter of perception.

33 is still considered "early adulthood" but the "NIH" so you're objectively still young.. You're not objectively old til 65+..

At age 33, I went to take a 'treadmill test at my University Physical Education Department, to see where I was on Cardio Pulmonary function and what my oxygen 'uptake' level was before I started to 'compete in 10k, 5k etc... just to see what I could do on that lever.  The MORON adult running the lab told me ' Oh no, we don't test "middle aged" men... we test 19 -20 year olds, you will l have to go to your MD and get an EKG first, to see what your heart health is" ! Holy Shit.!  I complied and got tested and went back later and TESTED OFF the scale for a 19 year old for Oxygen Uptake, and all of the indices for unlimited physical activity at that point... I was really pissed off at the '"middle aged man" idiotic comment, and demanding I get 'tested'  So what does that tell you?

It all depends on the age group you're currently in. When I was 15, anyone over 40 seemed old, as they would be either my parents, my friends' parents or my teachers.

When you're 35-40, you think of older anyone in the age group of 75-80.

But I don't like to think of old, just older, with more experience, more life stories, a longer way they have travelled in the figutative sense.

I think you're not old as long as you feel physically fit.

It's funny One of my best friends growing up anybody passed thirty , he would call them an old man. And I would just look at him and say what are you talking about dude... Birthday cake wise i'm old , but the inside my body my mind I still feel like I'm 24. I've always been in good shape And I eat good foods.

When I was 17 I hitchhiked to work one morning and got picked up by a guy driving a 1964 Impala. He had fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror and was blasting the oldies station on the radio. I was thinking how old this guy was. He must have been 30. Now I say that you have to be 70 to be old.

Having just hit 40 I've become pretty conscious of my age. For example, there are groups that are 20s to 30s ie you're no longer invited!

When I was young I would have considered 30 past it.

My body definitely feels better than I did in my 20s. I get sick less frequently, seldom, and generally don't get any aches and pains. Well aside from my knees, but that's from deadlifting and squatting like an idiot for a number of years.

Some people are old at 30. Some are young at 70. I got divorced and started dating in my mid-30's. Some women my age were young, some reminded me of my mother. My (ex) father-in-law was skiing in shorts into his 70's. "Just No Time at All" from the musical Pippin has this line: "I believe if I refuse to grow old, I can stay young 'til I die."
