I think classifying people into labels like conservative or liberal is a hallmark of angered and uneducated people. But the labels themselves say nothing about intelligence. What you are talking about is emotional attachment to ideas. Which is like calling someone stupid for believing in Jesus or budda or Mohammed. People who classify themselves to a group, assigned by politicians to devide and conquer the people. A person who is thoughtful and intelligent realizes that there are nuanced answers to the problems of society. Those that assign liberal or conservative to themselves or others have surrendered to group think. Because it's easier to hate a faceless group than the people who you look in the face. Insulting someone no matter how well crafted will just dig themselves in more emotionally. Conservatives already think liberals are dumb and vice versa it is a method of control by those in power.

The Left (Liberals) are hysterical - that is emotive thinkers - whilst conservatives are cognitive thinkers - that is A=B B=C therefore A=C thinkers.

I doubt any emotional thinker is ever going to be swayed by A=C arguments. They are swayed by loose emotional connections with something being vaguely similar to something else. That's the way you need to argue with them.

The other way is to question their values.

All logic is based on premises (values in politics). In the A=B example if we don't agree on the commutation principle A does not equal C. As I like to say, Logically you can't have Logic without premises (values) in common.

You are best off to expose their values and their contradictions. Then to demonstrate how stupid their values are because even they can't fully subscribe to them.

The left do not respond to fear and hate like the right do. Normal people hear "fire" and do not run, they look for a fire extinguisher to put the fire out before it spreads.

That would be impossible because most Conservatives in power today are idiots who follow whatever P-2025 tell them do. If you know how to read a chart, you'd be able to look up the dumbest states in the country and find out that the bottom 15 are solid red states, with only 2 having voted blue for President in the 2020 election. Otherwise, the dummies are all red.
