I disagree.

But it could be true or false to someone depending on how they were raised and their mentality.

For someone who views women as a whole other human being and a person, this would sound ridiculous because you love the person first.

But for someone who was raised with traditional gender roles and stereotypes it's very much true and relatable.

by the way I know all the examples about door and key, grass on the road, tea kettle and cups, etc. So please don't enlighten me further 😒

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If a woman is a single mom there is almost always a reason. OCCASIONALLY there is a good woman that just chose the wrong guy. But this is exceedingly rare. Most women who are single mom's are so because she has character flaws. Sometimes she doesn't know it or won't self reflect to understand that. So even if you gave her the chance to make a good decision she f*** it up repeatedly.

I'm not saying never give a single mom a chance. Because as I said, you can find a diamond in the rough there. Just know it is not at all common. Take your time vetting her. And put it on HER to prove she is worth the gamble. A good woman will. A bad woman will get an attitude about it. Again, this is why she's a single mom.

No, it can be an honorable thing to put the ego aside and decide to love a child that's not biologically yours.. Back in the day the main way a woman would be a single mom is by becoming a widow, and taking up the mantle to be a father figured inna child's life was seen as a thing great men would do..

Nowadays many women almost choose to be single mothers by making bad decisions and chooses in men.. Now it seems like a joke take up the mantle of a bad decision.. Especially since a lot of single mothers do try and use guys..

For myself, I would have to agree with that notion. But that doesn't mean I couldn't fall in love with a single mom. No ones life is perfect and women are included in that. They make mistakes, they have failed relationships, they do things they regret. Show me any man or woman who isn't at risk of that. And some are victimized and become pregnant as a result. Forgiveness and understanding should be part of every relationship. Single mom's need love too.

Ok, here's a single mom's priorities:

1) her kids, 2) her, 3) you... and that's on a good day! She has the burden and is looking forward support and assistance. If you think you're going to get a big "return on investment" from your emotional and financial support, you are in for a rude awakening. Also, be prepared to deal with the crazy dad/ex who may be waiting for the opportunity to fv<k you completely up! You're welcome for my free advice! Lived it and been there!
