I believe our system is broken beyond repair and I’m losing faith in it everyday.

The socialist would bank off the system just as the capitalist would however I would give the socialist a try because it can’t get any worse. I want socialism for the everyday man and poor. Under Capitalism we see wars, religious conflicts, politicizing everything, Left and Right being at eachother’s throats.

We have a two party system that is literally a disguise for extreme capitalists to expand the rich at the trampling of workers, homeless, immigrants, and more all for the purpose of power and expansion. It is socialism for the wealthy and capitalism for the poor.

I used to sing praise of capital in a reasonable way, but sometimes we need to reform a broken system rather than drag our heels.

LOL People voting for the Capitalist don't realize that they're already in a semi-Socialist system anyway in the USA. Plus, there's never, EVER been a fully Socialist system anywhere in the world. Many leaders have used the term, but they were all just dictators with a more appealing moniker.

People in the USA are conditioned from birth to be afraid of anything that isn't "Capitalism". You've been fed all kinds of bullshit about it, and you still defend it, despite living in the GREATEST margin of wealth gap in history since the days of kings and peasants.

Socialism is defined as the government owning the means of production. In other words, the government controls every aspect of a person's life. It's collecivistic tyranny if allowed to go unchecked. All these far leftists screaming at, physically attacking, censoring, doxxing, sticking any label they can think of under the sun to anyone that dares to disagree with them? Trying to take away your right to bear arms? Always thinking of reasons to tax you? Controlling what you can and cannot say? Now imagine if this ended up becoming our government system. Guys like Stalin, Mao zedong, Kim Jong il, Ho chi Minh, Fidel Castro- all socialist, them and their cronies lived like kings while their citizenry starved and lived under tyranny and anyone who disagreed was executed or imprisoned

Capitalism may not be perfect, but at least I don't have to wait in breadlines, can speak my mind, and conduct my life as I see fit without autocratic government thugs coming after me for it and by the way, socialist leaders like Stalin, Mao, Castro, etc. were the worst crony capitalists.

I would vote for the socialist, of course. Because I actually care about the welfare of other people, in addition to that of myself. I realize that you've been programmed to believe that socialism and anything but capitalism is a terrible thing, and you don't have any understanding of these things at all anyway. With just that information I wouldn't vote for either of them. When I am at the voting box I vote for the person I believe to be the one who will be better for me and my family with the party affiliation not a concern.

I'm a Libertarian so I wouldn't vote for either of them if it meant the libertarian party would win. In reality there aren't enough people to vote for the libertarian party so we end up voting for whomever is pushing for less laws and less government
