Yes. The vast majority of women with college degrees don't use their degrees anyway. It's a waste of time and money to be honest. Ask any woman with a family and she'll tell you her family brings her the most fulfillment. Why in God's name is society telling girls to go against their nature?
The men women want don't give two shits about their degrees. And honestly, it hurts their chances of finding the provider/protector. And if being totally honest, the girl who spent that time learning how to care for a family and being feminine will be a drastically better wife.
But, society teaches girls not to rely on a man, so, they better be able to care for themselves. It's fear based propaganda peddled by women who don't want to listen to a man. Plain and simple.
The problem with this is the following:
1. Living standards have dropped - fewer men of such nature to pursue
2. The women have become so bitchy and entitled (sadly due to "technology induced hypergamy") that any man worth his money will duck them and run
3. Fewer men are going to gamble with half their wealth:

When I attended Emory, the running joke was that parents sent their sons to Emory to get an M. D. degree and they sent their daughters to get an M. R. S. degree.
there's not that many wealthy men out there, especially good decent ones. and even less if they have to be good looking and not too old on top of that. if you love your daughter, i don't think you'd want her to be with some old asshole (which is what most wealthy men are). also rich men generally speaking, when they don't date in their own social class, want attractive younger women. most women wouldn't be hot enough to even qualify in their youth, to marry someone like that. and if they can, their hotness won't last an eternity. there's no guarantee that once she's old and not longer hot, or way before that if he gets tired of her, that he won't just dump her. she'll have nothing, and will be dirt poor unless she gets money from divorce. she'll have been out of the workforce for a very long time/never entered it and have no real qualifications besides a high school degree, so she'll be broke forever. It's much better to encourage girls to get degrees and become wealthy and successful themselves. their wealth if they make it, is in their control and won't evaporate if their husband gets tired.
Let's see 4 billion women on earth. Let's say half are adults. That's 2 billion women potentially looking for a rich guy.
Now let's take a look at the available bachelors. 4 billion men on earth. Let's say half are adults of marriage age. A common benchmark for rich is the concept of the 1%. To be included in the 1%, AI says you'd need to earn between $600,00 and $1,000,000 annually depending upon what state you live in. Let's use 1% then. 2 Billion X.01 = 20 million eligible Rich Guys".
So 2,000,000,000 women chasing 20,000,000 men = 100 women chasing every rich guy. That's means 99 out of every 100 women are gonna lose that chase.
Who wants to literally bet their life on the "marrying into wealth" lottery when it's almost a given that the top 1% of women based on physical appearance are almost certainly gonna win almost every time. If you're not in the top 10% of women you probably don't have a prayer with the top 1% of men.
Then consider that a top 1% man has women throwing themselves at him into his 50's and 60's. That trophy wife probably gets tossed in her 40's for a 20 something replacement because those 1% guys aren't famous for their character and devotion.
Educate yourselves in some way ladies. That could be a formal degree program. Or developing skill and knowledge in a business sector working your way up from the bottom. Or it could be owning your own business. Something is better than nothing.
lol
my son who was 15 last yr told me to marry off her sister to someone rich hahahaa… she was 17.
now that she is 18, she is dating 18 and is working to higher education, her boyfriend is not rich. What can I say.
my sons idea.
Human beings need the best chance to flourish and live in abundance mindset and blossom.
Putting all your eggs in the one basket if an imperfect rich guy’s hands is going to put you at risk of being one of those depressed and empty inside wives.
She should do something or learn something that makes her feel whole herself.
Being rich isn’t a bullet proof answer to all problems. You still have to cook, clean, change diapers and exercise. Many rich people have to work harder than middle class people to beat the competition and stay rich.
My daughters were both self sufficient in their own right- one an Architectural Engineer (now a mom and Homeschool author), and the other a Graphic Artist with clients across the country. We never pushed them one way or the other- they simply chose the right way to do things.
……. 🤣🤣🤣
Oh wait, you’re serious. Hell no. Everyone (man or woman) should be taught to stand on their own two feet.
Where is she going to meet a rich guy? Most of them are in college. Besides that , you want to raise all your kids to be self sufficient male or female.
thats how you screw yourself over.
good luck being married to a man you don't love then meeting the love of your life that you can't have.
good luck when the rich dude divorces you, leaving you with nothing. get back on the streets
No. Parents should encourage their daughters to have good work ethic and be capable, whether or not that involves a college degree, and to marry a good man.
We need to be encouraging our sons and daughters to be who they are and not load them down with our baggage. If she wants to be a housewife encourage that, if she wants to go to school encourage that. Find out what they love and encourage THAT. (Within reason obviously)
I guess if your raising her to be a gold digging whore then that would be the route to go! I'd also bet in the end things wouldn't work out like you think.
Women are hapier when they do not have to work or worry about such things. They should make babies and tend house.
Feminists would not like you lol
Of course... in the 1600s.
In the 21st Century, parents might want to encourage their sons to marry a wealthy woman. 🤔
No. You can still marry a rich guy with a Study diploma. The one does not exclude the other.
either a trade school, or a degree in something besides dry grass basket weaving so she can be independent if she wants to be.
Maybe, particularly if the daughter is too dumb to benefit from any higher education.
Maybe she's a buxom blonde !!!
It's a viable life option... albeit not a stable one
I don't think they should encourage it. But I don't think it should be shamed either.
it's not the 1500's anymore... lol
Girl, no one wants an MRS degree anymore
How NINETEEN TWENTY-FIVE of you, laddie !!!
No, women should stand on their own feet
