Sweden is just paying $30,000 for an illegal to go home. I don't know how they keep them from coming back but it's an interesting concept. I know it would be a tough pill to swallow and feel like extortion, but I bet it's cheaper than our current system. Heck, it might pay for itself in vandalism to ICE cars alone. I know that the politicians in sanctuary cities would fight this tooth and nail because they don't want to lose their voter base.

It would take more than $30K to get them to leave. Many illegals make more than that in government assistance, especially in sanctuary cities and states.

They won't admit this but look at Sweden policy. If I go to sweden claiming to be a refugee they set me up in a hotel with 3 square meals a day, I get access to a gym/swimming pool sauna, im given a sizeable allowance of money every week, im give lump sums of money to get started, a new smart phone, free clothes, free dentists, free doctors, free education, free xbox or PlayStation, commit crimes without punishment, look at scantily clad Swedish girls, go to clubs, free everything for my famiky who i will bring over, and of course return on holiday for a month every to the place im supposedly fleeing. €30,000 doesn't cover a quarter of all that.

The Australian solution is far superior. Intern the buggars on a small pacific island till they agree to self deport. As soon as an illegal mars a beach with his/her foot print, they are on a flight to the Nauru holiday camp.

If they're here in "good faith", meaning they actually did come here to find a better life for themselves and their family, maybe. Or rather, I at least think that there could be some kind of discussion to be had. Coming into the US illegally is a crime, so regardless, there still need to be consequences.

We got about 20,000,000 illegals after Joe opened the borders, most of whom were given about a million dollars per family as well as free housing, transport, food, medical, cell phones and other amenities as soon as they set foot here, none of which I'll bother with here, and if we paid each of them $30,000 to get out, that'd cost us at least $600,000,000,000. Minus the the $4,000,000,000 we already blew getting 2,000,000 to leave on their own, that should bring it down to roughly $596,000,000,000 to get rid of the rest by giving them $30,000 per. How many did Sweden get, by the way? Sweden's not that big, I wouldn't even count on it being able to hold 20,000,000.
