Are Dogs More Intelligent Than Some Humans?

After my cycle ride today I called for a drink.

There was a couple about in their forties, and their dog was blocking everyone's passage.

The dog seemed to know what I was thinking, and began making a fuss over me as I tried to squeeze past, and I got the impression the dog was trying to say to me "I'm sorry I'm blocking everyone's path, but this is where my owners are sitting".

The couple could have sat out of the way, but seemed to take great delight, as people struggled past them without standing on their dog.

Are dogs more intelligent than some humans?

What is your opinion?

I'm sure there are many more ways they are trained specialist dogs as well.

Of course. My late border collie Myrtle was a super genius even among border collies. She'd be the Ken Jennings of Border Collie Jeopardy.

I often said "Myrtle is smarter than most Republicans".

There are many dumb humans (I remember some voters during the elections) so... yes, maybe, not just dogs, some parrots, monkeys, whales, and dolphins are also smarter than some humans.

We can see that some people are just plain old assholes and think they are entitled, and some are just plain old stupid, which makes dogs look more intelligent than their owners

Another awkward to mention difference. I asked a dog trainer if male dogs who were not neutered do self master bait. But dogs don't! It is not their nature.

That's because dogs don't have the capacity to recreationally use drugs, humans do. Humans are also more in tune of what problems exist around them, making them more susceptible to mental health issues. A dog's entire life consists of eating, sleeping, and playing. I think you actually just proved it positive that dogs are smarter than some people.
