As a trans woman, how do I cope with feeling so hated and dehumanized?

It bothers me so much how hated I am and it always has. Cis women are so lucky they get to be beautiful and feminine and loved. They never have to feel like they’re monsters. I transitioned at age 14 in 2008 in East Tennessee and back then I got on the internet to escape transphobia. But now I don’t even really experience transphobia anymore irl but I see it everywhere online. There was a period in the late 2010’s where I was amazed. It felt like we were finally accepted and normalized and I felt so happy. I was honestly surprised it happened so soon. But beginning in 2020 people developed an obsession with us. It hurts. It hurts so bad. I don’t understand why people want to target and bully such a small population of people. Us trans people are a small minority I rarely meet other girls like me but people hate us as if we are everywhere and convincing every child to be trans. We are the most acceptable group to hate yet people act like they’re courageous for hating us. As if making a person who suffers with a horrible life suffer even more is some courageous act. It’s so weird and I fully expect my existence to be illegal by 2030. I’m so sad. I’m now an alcoholic and I don’t even care.
I work at Walmart and I love my job!! My coworkers are always nice to me and my customers are always nice to me. But I get online and I see people being so mean. How am I supposed to not let this bother me? How am I supposed to feel happy in a world that hates me so much? I’m so scared. I matter. My humanity matters.
