Why are single men judged for being single by women?

I don't think they are. I think it's moreso stuff like... if you've got a girlfriend that's proof that you're trustworthy by at least one woman, so women like you better, and it's proof you can have skills involved with getting a girlfriend, so women like you better, and it significantly decreases the likelihood that you'll get infatuated with women who don't want you to be infatuated with them, so that can make some women like you better, etc.

So, I think single guys, socially speaking, get screwed over by culture a lot more than guys in relationships. I do think men get more side-benefits from being in relationships with women than women get from relationships with men... unless she's dating a plumber or mechanic or carpenter or something... but that's more about skills than gender. Guys get trusted more just by default if they're not single.

Why are they retarded to think like that? They're probably often right... which is what sucks, in my view. If someone already has a girlfriend, you can see an example of how they're treating a woman, so you'll be less surprised. Also, anti-social personalities tend to drive people away, etc.
