Also, implicit in my question is that ironically, it would seem that those on the left deem it to be an instant deal-breaker if their partner doesn't share their views (they are more intolerant). Whereas those on the right can be more accommodating and generally don't give a shit, providing the other person is at least somewhat reasonable and not too screechy (I have sensitive ears).

I wouldn't be afraid to express my views, but I also wouldn't turn a first date into a political debate. I think it's important to be able to have different opinions without feeling like you have to hide parts of yourself to be accepted. I'm more interested in how someone handles disagreement than whether we agree on every political issue. Can we have a mature conversation, listen to each other, and respect our differences? That matters to me. I wouldn't want to build a relationship where either person feels they have to walk on eggshells just to express an opinion.

No. It's unethical to lie to prospective partner, and it's also stupid. How long do you think you can keep it up? How do you imagine it will go when they learn the truth? That they will bo so much in love with you that it won't matter? Or are you just hoping to persuade them to have sex with you a couple of times?

If you think it's not a bad thing, then date women who agree with you. If you can't find any, maybe your views aren't as well-considered as you believe.

3. That depends on what you class as educated. In the UK apparently 52% of people have a higher education of some form by the age of 25. Having said that, consuming academic concepts that are increasingly divorced from physical reality doesn't necessarily make you intelligent in a well-rounded sort of way. Hence why a lot of people's political view-points, for example on welfare, change when they get into the world of work.

Plus, you can be educated and highly indoctrinated. These are the subtle ideas and philosophical reinforcements that occupy a person's particular world if they have a certain upbringing. Example, watch a David Attenborough nature documentary these days, and you will literally get 10 messages about how the world is imminently dying in the space of an one hour programme. This has become such the norm these days that most won't notice it is happening. Propaganda and nonsense, the child is captured since the age of 4 when they start school.

And then of course, it would seem those on the left struggle to define what a male and a female is. Obviously, we were a lot more stupid 50 years ago when this really wasn't a thing...

3. Indoctrination can be seen through multiple lenses. Conservatives in my opinion are indoctrinated in believing their world viewpoint as being the correct one through a means of Conservative media shoving it down their throats, and keeping their world interactions homogenized to only what they know.

College educated liberals are not so much indoctrinated, as much as they are exposed to more personalities and ways of life outside of their family's points of view, that it fundamentally forces them to rethink those biases they had growing up.

Defining what a male or female is, isn't hard. It's just that conservatives can't see outside their own little 6th grade biology textbooks on the subject when the truth is much more complex.

Yeah, I don't think we're doing to agree on this. Although I don't want to turn this into a completely left versus right type thing because nuance is important. And I also feel that you're framing this through an (presumably) American context. In the UK we have had 30 years of terrible socialist policies. It's a different experience to what you have there. That's why I feel it is more natural to be resistant to that here.

No, that's totally fair that our country's experiences are different. What i do know is that when the pendulum swings hard one way politically it always swings back the other way. Right now we are dealing with some of the most corrupt conservatives this country has known and that's saying a lot. It's gonna swing back hard. Might be different for your country.

I would counter with one point, however, intolerance occurs with both sides. Liberals not accepting conservatives who seek to legislate or harm minorities shouldn't be accepted though. On that front they are correct to be intolerant.

2. They are often more sexually attractive, at the price of being more difficult to respect (and thus care about or want in a relationship context). This is probably why they are obsessed with respect being something everyone is entitled to (unless they are conservative) rather than something people earn.
