Why am I so inappropriate?

When I'm talking to people at college, sometimes I just go off on one and start talking about the most inappropriate things such as sex or death or something weird. I get really loud and I worry that I'm behaving too outrageously and being attention seeking. I really don't mean to but once I start expressing myself I can't stop!

What would you think if I was in your presence?

well I would think the following:

1. it's good that she expresses her own opinion.

and

2. if she constantly continues to go on and on I would start to think she likes to hear herself talk.

It's good to give your opinion, but allow people to respond to what you say. listen to them and learn to be an active listener. Don't always bring the conversation back to your own thoughts and give people the feedback you would like in return.

I think a lot and at times I can't shut up... but I had to learn to control myself. hope I'm not to far off base. =)

I would think hey that girl is just like me! I do the same thing... I grew up in a loud family therefore I am loud... I am not attention seeking but I get so caught up in what I am saying I am dramatic about it, such as talking with my hands making faces while I talk... etc... its just your personality so many people will love you for your honestly and your character I wouldn't worry about it., but you do need to watch what you say so you do not offend anyone.

Yeah a lot of people thought I was weird growing up and all that, but I don't really give a damn cause that's me and I have met some really great people being so outrageous cause I can always make them smile.
