Lol, Jk. But seriously, girls out themselves as girl gamers and usually expect to be treated differently but in the opposite manner. I meet girls on Mod that expect you to let them win or get mad at non derogatory trash talk (which is a huge part of the game). Everybody gets trashed and the easiest thing to pick out are gender dialect and age. After that you guess at personal insecurities until one gets the upper hand and the other leaves. That's what I have to say about it. And if it truly bothers you that much, join a girls gaming group they are all over and dominate the sh*t out of some games and act like a**holes toward guy gamers. It sounds like you're probably not too good at the game so it makes them angry. Most of the guys I know who play FPSs get super pissed when they lose. So if they feel like you're bringin the team down, they'd end up directing that anger at you. And because you're a woman that anger turns toward derogatory, gender-biased remarks. Just ignore them and keep playing :)
That's just how some people get when they play video games. It's not because you're a girl. If you were a guy they'd be throwing other nonsense insults at you, too. Also they're just really immature.

It goes like this. You make fun of the person, so they get upset, and start playing badly.
For example, went bowling the other day with some friends.. usually I can get strikes or splits every round, but I had injured my shoulder, one of the guys could beat me, but missed a shot, and was falling behind on of the girls, all I had to do is whisper to him "Hey, pick up the game, you're losing to a girl", and every shot after that he missed, or only got a couple of pins.
Knowing that my mind games was working my confidence grew, and my game became better.
Some people call it immaturity, but I just see it as part of the fun...

When you're doing something competitively, some people will choose to trash talk. They don't just do it to girls. That's just another thing they can exploit, especially if you're mediocre. If you have a headset and they can get a reaction out of you, even better. I'm assuming you either have that, "girl" in your name, or a female name as your gamertag.
Their jealous your better than them and it's their defensive mechanism. I personally love gaming with females. I know it's hard to, but ignore the a$$es best you can.
