Engagement photos with braces...

My fiance and I got engaged in August 2011. We have already sent out announcements, but we have not had engagement photos taken. I currently have braces, and I am torn whether I should wait til I get my braces off before we get the pictures taken. Our wedding date is October 2013, and my braces are suppose to come off in November/December 2012. I want to get photos done now, but I would also prefer not to have braces in the pictures.

What do you think? What would you do?

have you thought about looking for someone who can use Photoshop? they can make people look years younger using Photoshop I'm sure they can remove your braces.

you can try link it's a site where people post all kinds of art but allot of them know how to use Photoshop so if you look under the forms link and find [Employment Opportunities] make a post in [job offers] saying you are looking for someone who uses Photoshop to remove braces from wedding pictures.

Your boyfriend's an imbecile for getting married. First of all its most likely going to end in divorce. Second of all a person's personality doesn't stabilize until the age of 30. If you have a kid with him and then get a divorce you're most likely going to have full time custody of the child. And then you're gong to take half his money.

Go ahead and take the pictures. You can ask your photographer to digitally remove the braces if you don't want to have them for your pictures. After the photos are taken, the photographer can use his/her computer to remove them. When I had family pictures a few years back, I had braces and the photographer was able to remove them from the pictures.

Yeah I didn't either. We didn't even ask him to, but when we got our pictures back, my braces were gone. You should definitely ask your photographer about it.

You seem to have sent your announcements out pretty darn far in advance! Lol. I think that you should just wait until the braces come off! You'll like the pictures better! Although, you could always get pictures done now AND later? Decide which you like best. Your wedding is still SO far away that you have plenty of time to decide...

Your wedding date is almost a year apart from when you get your braces taken off. I think you should wait. I'm sure you'd be a lot happier. Plus you really don't want to send out your pictures/invitations too early (as in a few years early). People are more than likely going to forget.
