He can call me, but I can't call him...

There's this guy that I kinda like. We've been talking for about a month now. We've progressed from texting to talking (whoa...heavy stuff lol). Anyway, I really enjoy talking to him. We have good conversation. I know that he enjoys talking to me too because he told me so and calls me every night before he goes to sleep. He even calls again if I don't answer the first time. I think his effort is cute. However, what I don'f find cute is the fact that I can never call him. This is awkward because normally, I hate calling people anyway. I like for them to call me, so that I know I'm not interrupting anything. He's a pretty busy guy. One day, he mentioned that I never call him. He always called me, which was true. I've heard this in the past, so I stopped being a wuss and started calling him. Eventually, I realized that my reasons for not calling him were very valid. Every time I call him, he answers, and then says he's busy and he'll call me back later, which he usually does. I checked my call log and no outgoing call to him has lasted longer than 7 minutes. I try to call him during the times he's called me in the past, but it's too random. The times range from 9pm-1:30 am. Now, I'm starting to feel like a sap because he can always call me to talk, but I can never do the same. Last night, he called twice in a row and I didn't answer. I felt like a loser for making myself so available since I like him. Am I being way too over-sensitive? When I call I can hear the gym or him driving in the background. It's not like he's with some chick or something. He has no schedule, so he just lives randomly like most single people without kids do. What do you think of this situation? Any advice is appreciated. :)

I would just tell him that he should call you whenever he is available and you can talk then because there is no point in you trying to call him when he is not able to talk and that is why he calls you. right? so I would just tell him that and tell him not to complain because there is no point for him to.

Sounds like he wants to b in control and only wants to do things when he wants. There's no doubt that he needs to hear your voice so he can sleep soundly. But try not to answer all his calls and if you do keep it short. Give him a taste of his own medicine. Or just let him know how you feel.

No offense... but this is REALLY OVER THINKING THINGS. Why can't you just say "Hey dude... you tell me that I never call you... so I started calling you, and you are always busy. Should I quit calling you?"

Don't mention the 7 minute thing... that will make him run!
