if yours were born in the 50s then they were pretty old when they had you man,
my grandmother was born in 1942, and my other grandparents around 1945-1946.

i quite disagree on the engine. yes we could use electric but our battery technology isen't there yet and they don't deliver the same kind of power

@Ahsthen i wasn't just talking about cars. i work with heavy machinery that drives every day 16 hours non stop. we can't make them electric because of the battery capasity and charging times

There are different methods. They used to have 'wired' trollies. As well, a tremendous amount of things in human parlance could be phased out, reducing such traffic... and repair... and jobs... by orders of magnitude. Can't wait.

by the way there is a lot of very expensive industrial equipment that uses XP and so it will be around awhile for that.

It still takes hydrocarbons to run electric vehicles. Charging doesn't come from perpetual energy.
