desktop would be way better for me since I am on the taller side

with a laptop, I could take it anywhere and that could lead me to play for a longer time and also with bad posture and I don't need any of that...

same goes for my job, a desk and desktop PC keeps me more aware of posture and better habits... I do want to get up and away from the screen, and not to carry it with me all over the place, not a good idea to be focused on screens for long hours

Desktop for me. I have a notebook as well but I only tend to use it when I'm traveling and these days even less with such fancy smartphones available.

Also so much more hardware power given the same bang for buck, especially if you shop carefully and especially, especially, if you assemble your own.

I have my desktop PC & it works well for me. My next may be a laptop though.

Desktop. More power, lower cost, and much, MUCH more by way of flexibility and upgradeability. Easier to work on, too.

Laptops are a way to go specially if you have small bedroom Like I do I don't have space or the room for a desk top computer.
