Playing through a video game is almost like being part of a story or a book and you get to the end and it's not what you expected.

Rampage on NES was pretty lame. I remember spending an entire afternoon trying to beat it (super easy, just tedious) when I was a kid, and I was just like “Are you SERIOUS?”😒😒😒

I think the first one for me was Ghostbusters for NES. It was bad, and if I recall they even had misspelling on the congrats screen.

Bionic Commando PS3/X360 had a lousy ending, I'd argue this might have been among the worst.

Nier Automata has some early bad endings that are tragic, but if you stick through it and unlock the best endings its worth it. That game is special.

Well, at the end of Karnov for NES, you beat the boss, and it cuts to a black screen that says:

CONGRATULATIONS!!

YOU WIN

... so that's a pretty shitty ending

I thought far cry 4 had a bad ending. You basically traded on dictatorship for another
